Joining Bright on the defensive line is 2028 defensive tackle Terrance Evans Terrance Evans 6'3" | 320 lbs | DL Union | 2028 State OK and he might be one of, if not the first 2028 prospect in the state to earn a P4 offer. It happened very early in his freshman year and now Union expects Evans to take that next step up front for them on defense. Evans is an absolute monster on the line of scrimmage. And he’s trimmed up this offseason and is getting more explosive. The ceiling for him moving forward as a prospect is incredibly high. He’s flirted with it in the past and has shown how dominant he can be. Evans is on our shortlist of 2028 prospects that we want to watch in person when the 2026 season kicks off.

We have not had a chance to really watch Evans in person over the last two years and we’re hoping that changes this fall. Based on his film, Evans is that prototypical interior defensive lineman that can cause a lot of problems for opposing offensive lines. Whether it’s in a 4-3 or 3-4 look, Evans has the potential to clog up the middle of the line of scrimmage and demand double teams or he’s going to push the line into the backfield. We’re looking forward to seeing Evans in person because he was one of the earliest 2028 prospects to get on college radars.

Out of the top guys in this class, he’s one that we haven’t seen in person and just don’t have a firm grasp on who he is as a prospect. As a freshman, Evans was one of the first 2028 prospects in the state to receive offers when he picked up a pair of SEC offers. As a sophomore, his film looks like it was limited to the start of the season. We didn’t get a chance to watch him in person last spring so he’s a high priority for us. On paper, he looks like a lane-clogging defensive tackle or nose guard with a high upside.

As a freshman, Evans would hold his own against some of the top offensive linemen in the state and in some cases, he was winning match-ups against guys three years older than him. It didn’t take long for D1 programs to take notice. In fact, SEC programs were some of the first to extend offers to Evans. So needless to say, the ceiling is incredibly high for him moving forward. Union is not lacking talent in the secondary but they could use more of an impact in the front seven. Evans has the potential to set the tone and wreck an opposing offensive line’s gameplan.

Out of the five prospects in the top five, Union defensive lineman Terrance Evans Terrance Evans 6'3" | 320 lbs | DL Union | 2028 State OK is one that we haven’t seen up close and in person. Everything has been based on film with Evans so he’s a high priority for us to see when it comes to this fall. But based on what we saw during his freshman season, Evans has the potential to be the next dominant interior defensive lineman in the state and we’re going through quite a good run at that position in the last few years. Evans was successful against some really good 2025 prospects last year as just a freshman. Because of that, he got on everyone’s radar and earned multiple SEC offers. The film is really good. We watched Union in person this spring but Evans wasn’t in action. We’re looking forward to seeing him in person at some point this fall. He has all the tools to be an elite guy in the middle of a defensive line.

He already has a handful of P4 offers and when you throw on the film, you see a prospect that has an incredibly high ceiling. First off, you can’t coach size and Evans has a wealth of that. Looking at his freshman film, he doesn’t look like a freshman, running around on a field with seniors and juniors and competing against the state’s best competition. Now, it’s obvious because he’s a freshman but it should be mentioned that Evans is still very raw. What’s scary is he still has three more years of high school football to work on his skillset and get a deeper bag of moves off the line of scrimmage. But there is no doubt, based on his size and get off speed, he has a very bright future.
