Bixby offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1833634' first='Gavin' last='Wilson'] is solidifying his spot as the top OL in the 2028 class and one of the top overall prospects at #3 overall. He joins one of his teammates as the Spartans have two of the top three prospects in the latest 2028 ranking update. Wilson is also going to help the Spartans on defense but there is no doubt that he is a foundational piece to their offensive line. With one of the nation's best OL prospects at left tackle, Wilson will take up the right side and the Spartans have two monster pieces on the line of scrimmage. Wilson really impressed us with his motor when we watched him at team camp and then he's impressed college coaches in the last month as his recruitment has exploded.

Union defensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1532195' first='Terrance' last='Evans'] continues to be a 2028 prospect that we are high on moving forward but the evaluation still feels incomplete. We have not had a chance to really watch Evans in person over the last two years and we're hoping that changes this fall. Based on his film, Evans is that prototypical interior defensive lineman that can cause a lot of problems for opposing offensive lines. Whether it's in a 4-3 or 3-4 look, Evans has the potential to clog up the middle of the line of scrimmage and demand double teams or he's going to push the line into the backfield. We're looking forward to seeing Evans in person because he was one of the earliest 2028 prospects to get on college radars.

Edmond North offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1689505' first='Wyatt' last='Knol'] is a prospect that we are very high on as he gets ready for his junior season with the Huskies. Knol comes in at #3 on the OL charts in the 2028 class and this spring, we got our first chance to watch him go to work in person. We had seen the film and the upside was clearly there. But then we got to watch him in person at team camp and we were very impressed with his playing style. He has the size and can move around on the end of the line of scrimmage. But he also plays the game with an aggression and brings the fight to his opponent on every single snap. Edmond North has quite a few underclassmen that we are fired up to watch this season and Knol is right up there.

Union defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1642542' first='Rocky' last='Bright III'] was a name on our radar this offseason and it was pretty clear he was going to be a name we needed to know moving forward with the way he finished up his sophomore season. Then we got a chance to watch him go to work in person back in the spring at Union's team camp and we were blown away by his abilities coming off the edge. Bright is a terrific edge defender that can beat the man in front of him in a variety of ways. Sudden burst and overall speed was definitely something that stood out but don't overlook the power that Bright has as he can beat opponents with power moves in addition to speed. All signs point to Bright having a monster junior season in 2028.

Broken Arrow center [player_tooltip player_id='1522526' first='Philip' last='Loadholt III'] made the move over to Broken Arrow this offseason after starting for the last two seasons at Booker T Washington. He's played multiple positions on the offensive line in the past but it seems like he's settled in at center and he's taken that over to Broken Arrow. It will be interesting to watch Loadholt go to work on a Broken Arrow offensive line that has plenty of talent on either side of him, while facing some really strong competition this fall. Loadholt is a 2028 prospect that we really like simply from a technique component. Every time we've watched him in person, he rarely gets beat because he knows how to get to his spots and immediately disarm the opponent in front of him.

Bristow offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1689520' first='Grahm' last='Streater'] is another 2028 prospect that we need to get eyes on sooner than later. We've checked him out on film and we've talked with enough people to know that he is a dude to know in the state's 2028 class. But we still haven't seen Streater go to work in person and that needs to change this fall. Streater looks like a really solid prospect on film, with good size and the technique is outstanding. He's an absolute mauler on the end of Bristow's offensive line and also turns around and was productive on defense last season. Streater has also had a very busy offseason on the camp circuit. It's safe to say that he's firmly on the radar of college coaches in this region.

Mangum offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1054230' first='Aiden' last='Augustine'] is a 2028 prospect that we've known about since he was in middle school. The one consistent trait that Augustine always displays is his work ethic. It can go unnoticed but Augustine looks for as much work as he can get in the offseason to improve and get better. He's been a constant competitor at our offseason showcase events and is routinely one of the best offensive linemen there. He also recently participated in one of the state's best OL/DL camps in Bixby and was a top performer. No matter where Augustine goes, he competes and is one of the top guys there. We continue to beat the drum for him as a legitimate prospect that will help a program succeed.

Choctaw defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1704157' first='Kaidis' last='Vick'] is a newcomer to the 2028 prospect rankings and a player that we're fired up to watch this season. Vick played last season at Douglass and was incredibly productive on the line of scrimmage for the Trojans. He was one of their best two-way players but this season, we expect Vick to be a dynamic pass rusher for the Choctaw defense. We already think that the Yellowjackets could end up having the best defense in 6A-2 when you look at the talent they have at all three levels. You add a terrific athlete like Vick to the equation and the stock only goes up heading into the 2026 season. Vick is debuting in the rankings right here but don't be surprised if he makes a huge leap this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1232542' first='Christian' last='Young'] is our final defensive lineman on this breakdown and it's going to look a little different when he takes the field this season. Young got on the field last fall and showed that he could be an impact player along the defensive line for Blanchard. But in the last month, Young decided to make the move from Blanchard to Tuttle and he now joins the defending 4A state champions. He joins a Tuttle defense that has routinely been one of the better units in Class 4A over the last few years. So it will be interesting to see how he fits in on a new team. He also has a very good background in wrestling so he'll fit right in with Tuttle's outstanding wrestling program. But Young is a 2028 name to file away in this DL group.

Rounding out the offensive lineman on this breakdown is Checotah's [player_tooltip player_id='1164571' first='Ashton' last='Newport'] and similar to Augustine, Newport is a 2028 prospect that we first watched in person when he was in middle school. So that was the starting point of our evaluation of him as a prospect and then we got a chance to see him last month at Checotah's team camp. Newport looks like he has taken that next step as an overall prospect and looks like the monster that we thought was possible a few years ago. He'll be the man in the middle of the Checotah offensive line at the center position. And he just looks more comfortable on the line of scrimmage, calling out assignments on the line and knowing where everyone around him should be.
