has been starting for the Hornets since his freshman season. Last month, Loadholt was right there at the top of the list in terms of the top performers at our Showcase event in Broken Arrow. Compared to some of the other top offensive linemen in the state, Loadholt doesn’t have the size that others have. But throw on the tape or watch him go to work in person. Size questions immediately get erased. He’s incredibly gifted on the line of scrimmage with a deep bag of moves to keep his defender in front of him. His strength and overall power is something that separates him from others at this position.

has been starting for the Hornets at the center position since last season. We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again here, freshmen don’t typically start at programs like Booker T Washington and when a freshman does start, it gets everyone’s attention right away. Taking a look at some of Loadholt’s film from the first month and a half of the season, the thing that jumps out to us immediately is his get off. He gets the snap to the quarterback and it’s like he has springs in his legs because he explodes out of his stance. It will be very interesting to see how Loadholt continues to develop physically but he’s firmly established himself as a 2028 name to know.

comes back as one of the top offensive linemen to watch on this year’s team. As we’ve mentioned a few times already, the Hornets have the potential to have one of the best offenses in Class 5A but it’s going to start up front on the line of scrimmage. If they can get the job done on the line, the ceiling for this unit is incredibly high. Loadholt was also in a rare position last season. Booker T Washington is one of those programs that features talented rosters every year. Most freshmen don’t see the field but that wasn’t the case for Loadholt. He would emerge as the team’s starting center in 2024 and he’s a player to watch this fall.

is going into his second season as a starter for the Hornets. It’s not very often that a freshman will be starting for Booker T Washington. So when it happens, we pay attention. Loadholt would crack the starting lineup at the center position. Throughout this spring and summer, he’s been moving around and getting used to playing different spots along the line of scrimmage. We haven’t seen him in person since last fall but based on that, he definitely projects to being more of an interior guy along the offensive line. He earned the trust of the Booker T Washington coaches last year and it sounds like he’s continuing to improve at the different spots on the line.

is the top guy at the position in this class. There are a couple reasons why we think Loadholt has earned this spot and is a top ten overall guy in addition to being the top guy at his position. He started as a freshman for Booker T Washington in a bounce back year where they won the district championship. The Hornets also have two of the best defensive linemen in the state and Loadholt has to deal with them every day at practice. Iron sharpens iron. He’s only going to get better from here the more he works with those monsters. Loadholt started for the Hornets at center and his stock is only going to continue to go up with the more experience he gets. He also benefits from having some outstanding genetics on his side.

as he’s starting for the Hornets at center this season. We got a chance to watch the Hornets in person last week in a game against Bishop Kelley and they definitely impressed on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Loadholt is the son of former OU offensive lineman Phil Loadholt, who’s now the OL coach at Colorado. The Hornet freshman OL has stood out to his coaches and has a chance to continue growing his game moving forward. He’s definitely a 2028 prospect to know.
