We’ve gotten a chance to watch him up close in camp and 7v7 settings and each time, he has always looked the part, with a strong arm and very consistent play. However, the 2024 season had to be frustrating for Moorman as he was dealing with nagging injuries and didn’t have a full season to go to work with a pretty talented group of skill position players with the Cardinals. But Moorman appears to be back to 100 percent and his recruitment is starting to pick up some momentum. We’ll be catching him in person very soon at various 7v7 tournaments and we’re looking forward to seeing him back on the field when the pads come on this fall.

Moorman has shown steady improvement over the last 18 months and there is no doubt that he could have a monster junior season. We’ve talked a lot about the talent that the Cardinals return at the skill positions and Moorman will be the guy driving this offense from the quarterback position. Moorman has weapons at wide receiver, a solid running game and an offensive line that might be a little inexperienced but they have talent there. The 2024 season could be a memorable one for him if he continues to progress as a quarterback.
