has definitely been one of the best running backs in Oklahoma for all four years of his high school career. There aren’t many players (regardless of position) that can say the same thing. Robinson burst onto the scene as a freshman, going against some of the top competition in Class 6A-1 and he answered the call. As a sophomore, he was limited because of an injury but when he was on the field, he was a game changer. Last year, he came back as one of the best players in the state and this season, it’s much of the same. Robinson is definitely one of the more consistent playmakers in the state and it’s shown for four years now.

was one of the very best players in Oklahoma last season. After missing most of his sophomore season, Robinson responded with over 2,200 yards and 28 touchdowns in 2023. That was good enough for the Santa Fe star to become a finalist for our Prep Redzone Oklahoma Player Of The Year award and earn All State 1st Team honors. Robinson also had a stretch from week four to week seven where he ran for over 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns. That’s a great season for most running backs and he did it in four games. He’s hungry for more this fall and earlier this summer, Robinson announced his commitment to Arizona State.

was one of the state’s very best players last season. His four-week stretch where he averaged 300 yards per game and scored 17 touchdowns is still arguably the best four-game production we’ve seen in the last five years. Over 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns is a good season and Robinson accomplished that in a month. He’s been a stud since his freshman season but he really emerged as one of Oklahoma’s best last fall. Earlier this summer, Robinson announced his commitment to Arizona State. Following that outstanding junior season, Robinson saw his recruitment explode as one of the state’s top prospects.

was a breakout star during his freshman season. His sophomore year was cut short due to injury but when he came back in 2023, he came back with a vengeance. Robinson became one of the top overall players in the state and he was arguably the best player in 6A-1 football last fall. It didn’t matter what team they were going up against, Robinson could not be stopped. He had a stretch during four weeks where he averaged 300 yards per game. Robinson has seen his recruitment take off in the last three months and that’s no surprise. He was one of the best in the state last season and wants more.

was one of the best players in the state this season. His sophomore season was impacted by nagging injuries in 2022 and he was just never at full strength. That wasn’t the case this season as he became arguably the best running back in Oklahoma. He ran for well over 2,000 yards this season and he had a four-week stretch where he ran for over 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns. Robinson was named a finalist for Player Of The Year and he earned it with his play on the field. He had a breakout freshman season in 2021, was limited by injury in 2022 and was one of the state’s best in 2023. We can’t wait to see what he does in 2024.

returned with a vengeance in 2023. He missed the majority of his sophomore season with an injury and the Wolves struggled to a rare 1-9 season. With Robinson back in the lineup, they made noise instantly, beating Jenks in the season opener on the road. They would go 7-4 on the year and made it back to the playoffs. Robinson finished the year as one of, if not the very best running back in the state when you look at the numbers. Against the state’s highest competition week after week, Robinson produced. He had just over 2,200 yards and 28 touchdowns on the ground. And for four weeks straight, he was absolutely unstoppable. Robinson had a stretch from week four to week seven, where he ran for just over 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns. That’s a great season for a lot of players and Robinson did that in four weeks. You can definitely make an easy argument that there wasn’t a better running back better during that time.Access all of Prep Redzone

It usually is, but it was tough narrowing it down to just one player in 6A-1 for this honor. But Edmond Santa Fe junior running back

gets the edge here. From the first week of the season, it was clear that Santa Fe was going to bounce back in a major way after going 1-9 in 2022. Robinson being healthy was a big key to their turnaround this fall and he could not be stopped. He finished the year with over 2,200 yards and 28 touchdowns on the ground. He had a four-week stretch in the middle of the season where he ran for over 1,200 yards. In four games. Robinson was dynamic throughout the year and he has once again established himself as one of the best running backs in the state.
