is a name that people need to know moving forward. We wrote about Tucker last week after he was one of the best defensive lineman prospects at our January camp. Tucker is undersized. It doesn’t matter. He’s a dog along the line of scrimmage and his deep bag of moves allows him to routinely beat opposing offensive linemen that have a size advantage.

is a dog. We’ll start the breakdown with that statement. Sunday’s camp was the third time we’ve seen Tucker in a camp setting, one padded and two without the pads. And routinely, Tucker is one of the smallest guys in the group. And routinely, he is also one of the best defensive linemen in attendance. Tucker absolutely got after it once again on Sunday. He does such a great job with his hands at the point of attack. He quickly neutralizes his opponent, no matter what the size difference is. What’s really impressive is when Tucker is working on the interior of the defensive line. Because he might be giving up 70-80 pounds to his opponent and it simply doesn’t matter. Tucker gets the job done and Sunday wasn’t the first time.

is another example of a 2027 prospect that is waiting for his turn to make an impact on the varsity level. You look at Santa Fe’s defensive line and they have some serious talent in the older classes. Tucker should be an impact player in the future but until then, he has been tearing it up on the freshman and JV levels. Tucker also stood out to us back in the spring at our PRZ-Next camp as he took home MVP honors for his position group. We saw him again at another camp in the summer and he was once again one of the top performers there. Tucker already has a good bag of moves and it’s only a matter of time before he’s a name to look out for on Friday nights.
