Lawson was a first-team All-Conference selection in the well-regarded Queen City Conference this past season. Lawson’s speed and athleticism really make his upside a major plus to colleges on the next level. Lawson received an offer from Lenoir-Rhyne previously, however, I think he should be getting much more recruiting attention just because of his physical traits. Lawson tackles well in the open field and can be an asset blitzing from depth with his speed. Finally, Lawson is a high-level team leader and his presence can be a positive to college programs’ locker rooms.
