To be honest, this particular stock-riser case was less of a “what have you done for me lately” and more a market correction. Price has the size, power, and quickness to be a Division I college prospect, but his old ranking didn’t really reflect that. After missing some time last season, he’s fully healthy, and comes in as one of the top interior defensive linemen in the Charlotte area.
Price was hurt for a large portion of the 2025 season, but he was unblockable in his final four games when healthy. He has an excellent athletic profile, with great get-off and ridiculous strength. He’s started to put that all together on the film, and with more reps, he should move up in the rankings.
Price has been on our radar for a while, but we just didn’t have the varsity film to push him into the rankings at the time. A weight room warrior (And member of the 1,000-pound club), he battled through injuries to have an electric end to the season. His get-off is rare for his size, and his strength shows up on the field. Be on the lookout, as he may be a guy who rises considerably in the next rankings update, especially if he stays healthy.
A strong, hulking nose tackle, Price actually moves really well for his size. He didn’t get much varsity playing time this season, but looks like a guy who could contribute in some capacity as a sophomore. Price has a quick first step and knows how to get to the body of opposing linemen. He’s a guy we’re excited to scout more closely.
