Anthony has been another one of my favorite offensive linemen throughout his career. He’s a relentless run blocker who can snap & step well from the center position, and has the athleticism to pull and get out in space from his guard position. Anthony is also a good leader for the offensive line and shows consistently good technique up front.
Anthony has long been one of my favorite linemen to cover, and it’s because of his competitive spirit he plays the game. Anthony does a great job in playing to the echo of the whistle at either center or guard with excellent technique and power. Anthony can get out and pull from the guard position, and his ability to snap and step at the center position is top-notch. Anthony picked up an offer from North Greenville, and he should receive more interest coming his way once he gets out to some camps this spring and summer.
Anthony is a strong road-grading interior offensive lineman who can play guard or center at the next level. Anthony has a nasty mindset; he plays to the echo of the whistle, which I love from offensive linemen. Anthony was a 1st Team All-Conference selection for the second year in a row in the Queen City Conference, one of the best conferences in the state of North Carolina. He is an easy selection for this Junior Bowl team.
Anthony helped lead a very powerful Mallard Creek running game run up 43 points in the first half and start a running clock for the rest of the game. Cook’s road-grading blocking allows the Mavericks to control the line of scrimmage consistently behind a variety of running backs and dual-threat quarterbacks. The times that Mallard Creek threw the football. quarterbacks did not get pressured at all and were comfortable in the pocket.
Anthony has been one of my favorite linemen to watch over the past 2 years. He has been a varsity starter since his freshman year of high school. That alone was a reason to add him to the rankings, but Anthony is also as tenacious of a blocker that I can remember as a center/guard prospect in a while. He flips the switch between the lines in both run blocking and aggressive pass protection. Anthony was a 1st Team All-Conference selection and should be receiving more college interest as a center on the next level.
