Julian is a 6’0 210 pound prospect who boasts a 3.8 GPA and was recently named into the National Technical Honor Society, so it’s safe to say he’s an intelligent football player who will have his choice of schools from a recruiting standpoint. When you take a look at Julian’s film, there are some clear things he does well. Julian has the sideline-to-sideline ability to run down ball carriers and make tackles. He has shown good discipline in his zone drops and good ball skills to make pass breakups and interceptions. Lastly, Julian shows good athletic ability to blitz from depth and apply pressure on quarterbacks in the passing game. He has some recruiting interest currently and I am excited to see him on the camp circuit this spring and summer.
Lawson Collins Lawson Collins 6'0" | 195 lbs | WR Mallard Creek | 2025 NC – Mallard Creek
Recently receiving his first offer from Lenoir-Rhyne University, Lawson is an athletic linebacker prospect at 6’1 and 195 pounds. He lists a 3.5 GPA on his profile, another example of an intelligent football player right here, and once you look at his film, it also validates his football intelligence. He is a physical player, with several big hits on film, causing fumbles and creating turnover opportunities for his defense. That being said he is a secure tackler in space also, showing good technique and making several solo tackles on film. Finally, Lawson shows good discipline in pass coverage – his zone drops are consistent and he can man-cover running backs and tight ends also.
Kendric Davis Kendric Davis 6'2" | 210 lbs | LB Palisades | 2025 NC – Palisades
With offers from Charlotte, Alabama A&M, East Carolina, Liberty, Appalachian State, Marshall, and James Madison, Kendric is one of the more highly recruited linebackers in the state of North Carolina. A two-time All-Conference Linebacker, Kendric is a 6’2 and 200-pound prospect with some impressive athletic ability and a 3.25 GPA. Looking at the film, Kendric does a great job of making tackles all over the field with great speed. He makes physical tackles, forcing fumbles on multiple occasions. Kendric shows a good ability to blitz from depth through the interior or coming off the edge at times. Finally, Kendric can make plays in the passing game by reading the quarterback’s eyes, forcing knockdowns and pass breakups in coverage numerous times on film.
Jyron Tosi Jyron Tosi 6'1" | 210 lbs | LB Olympic | 2025 State NC – Palisades
Jyron has always been a productive linebacker, and last season at Olympic High School, he had 113 total tackles, 3 sacks, and 4 pass deflections on the season. Better known as “Chief”, Jyron was a leader for the defense and excelled at making big plays at the right time. When you take a look at the film, Jyron makes a lot of solo tackles in the open field, showing good technique and flowing all over the field with good speed. Jyron does a good job blitzing from depth to apply pressure to the quarterback and make tackles for losses in the backfield. Jyron also does a good job of diagnosing plays and shedding blocks in the interior run game as well. As Jyron gets out to camps, I am excited to see his recruiting continue to progress as a 6’1 and 215-pound prospect.
Camden Martin – Independence
I had the chance to interview Camden after the Patriots’ big win over Butler in the state playoffs last season and I came away impressed with him overall. He is a well-spoken young man who boasts a 3.5 GPA on his profile. As a 6’1 225-pound prospect, he had a productive season last year with 85 total tackles, 50 solo tackles, and 5.5 sacks on the season. Looking at the film, Camden was all over the field – sometimes he lined up on the interior of the line, sometimes he was an edge player, and sometimes he was an off-ball linebacker. No matter where he is on the field, he has to be accounted for. He shows great strength in shedding blocks, with the ability to run down ball carriers and make solo tackles with good technique. Camden has excellent short space closing speed, with the talent to get after the quarterback for sacks and impactful pressure in the passing game.
