He posted an offer from West Liberty in October and will be a good fit at a D2 program that could outplay his rank in the future after spending time in a college strength program. The 15-pound difference from last season is noticeable on film both physically and being stronger with plenty of more room to grow in his 5’11 frame. Miller is versatile in being able to play outside and inside which will depend on how much bigger he gets at the college level for where he inevitably ends up at.

Miller picked up his first offer from D2 West Liberty last month and is leading the Highlanders in tackles this season with 83 in 9 games. He’s added some good size for this season which is the area he needed the most work in as his play on the field has been very good the past few seasons. Miller is another versatile linebacker who can play MLB or OLB and has the athleticism to walk up to the LOS in a 3-man front as an edge rusher or drop into a zone in pass coverage. The added size has made him stouter between the tackles in run defense while having the lateral quickness to stretch out offenses horizontally. More in-state D2 programs will enter the mix for his post-high school services based on his senior film.

He’s been a steady presence in the Highlanders’ linebacker group and should build on the quality junior campaign that he had. Although a bit undersized for the position, Miller is an athletic outside linebacker prospect who can cover the slot and drop into zones in pass coverage. His style of play makes up for his lack of prototypical LB size as an attacking player. Miller pursues the ball well with high effort and quality speed and plays well in space due to his athleticism. He’s quick to the ball and is an aggressive tackler who will also play between the tackles and is stout in traffic.

Miller should cap off his high school career with a strong senior season and make his name more known in his final year.

Miller totaled 98 tackles and 4 TFLs as a junior on one of the state’s best teams and will return as one of the Highlanders’ defensive leaders for his senior year. Size is the one trait that hurts his stock a bit, but his play on the field warranted a Top 25 linebacker ranking in the 2025 class. Miller is a good athlete and an outside linebacker prospect with the versatility to rush the passer or drop into coverage. He also plays above his size and is stout when defending the run between the tackles at the line of scrimmage. Miller does a nice job tackling through ball carriers and will fight off blockers to make a play on the ball with high effort. He has the speed and athleticism to play in space with quality pursuit speed to the ball to make plays in the open field.

With another strong season as a senior, Miller could be a stock riser in our final rankings update and force us to overlook his lack of prototypical size for the position.
