Huntington’s leading receiver Jamari Tubbs Jamari Tubbs 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Huntington | 2025 State WV had a strong performance on the road against Wheeling Park in the quarterfinals. The senior posted 5 catches for 114 yards in the high-flying 51-39 victory to send the Highlanders to the semis in a rematch with Martinsburg.

Tubbs went over 600 yards on the season and has scored 7 touchdowns in a deep and talented receiving group. He has a quality combination of speed and size as an outside receiver who can stretch the field vertically but can work from the slot as well. Tubbs is a tough tackle in space and on 1-on-1s after the catch. He can also be a very good YAC receiver who will get you extra yards after the catch too.

Jamari Tubbs Jamari Tubbs 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Huntington | 2025 State WV has been Huntington’s top target this season in a loaded receiver group and is a prospect that colleges need to be getting in on quickly.

To date, Tubbs hasn’t posted any college offers but is clearly deserving attention. He’s a versatile receiver who can execute the full route tree and has shown evidence of that on film this season. On top of being a quality route runner, Tubbs can make plays after the catch as well with playmaking ability in space. He can stretch the field vertically and can get east and west as well. Tubbs has good body control and can outjump defenders on jump balls with quality length to utilize too.

2025 Huntington WR Jamari Tubbs Jamari Tubbs 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Huntington | 2025 State WV is ready to have his best season yet and showcase his full capabilities in what should be a high-powered offense. You saw flashes of his dynamic potential as a junior in a crowded WR room with more opportunities available for his senior year. While he’ll still have to share touches with a talented cast of offensive playmakers, Tubbs can make himself standout even further with college opportunities sure to come in bunches this season. Tubbs can be a deep play threat in their offense and did a nice job working the sidelines last season. He’s slippery in the open field and a difficult 1-on-1 tackle who often needs multiple defenders to corral him.
