. Rodriguez shows his twitchiness with his ability to get back to full speed when he gets caught flat footed. A disciplined defender, he maintains his backside responsibilities, buying in to playing team defense, in order to prevent big plays. What I like most about his game is that Rodriguez is aggressive and feisty, looking to disrupt the ball whenever possible. On film the naked eye can tell that he appears quicker and faster than many of his opponents. When facing routes against the boundary, Rodriguez does an awesome job of suffocating their routes, influencing them into the boundary and minimizing space to make a play on the ball. Something all prospects can take away from Rodriguez’s film is that he plays full speed at all times. Rodriguez might be the most disruptive defender in the class.

changed the game every time he touched the field. He brought together two traits rarely seen together: consistent discipline and explosive playmaking. And he delivered both all night.
First, he jumped out on defense. Rodriguez flew downhill from his linebacker–safety hybrid spot and set the tone early. Then he shifted gears and made his mark on special teams. Right before halftime, he ripped off a momentum-swinging kickoff return for a touchdown, giving St. Peter’s Prep the lead and complete control of the game’s energy.
But he wasn’t done. Late in the fourth quarter, Rodriguez sealed the win with a clutch forced fumble, securing possession and allowing Prep to bleed the clock.
Rodriguez, a Boston College commit, demonstrated exactly why his stock continues to climb. He impacted multiple phases, created winning plays, and proved he can tilt a game on command.

from St. Peter’s Prep is headed to Boston College. At 6’2”, 200 pounds, he brings rare versatility—able to impact the game as a box defender, edge blitzer, or deep safety. His size and ability to play on all three levels make him a valuable defensive chess piece for BC. Whether he grows into a safety or linebacker, his physical tools and instincts make him a substantial addition to the Eagles.

Jordan Rodriguez Jordan Rodriguez 6'0" | 185 lbs | DB St. Peter’s Prep | 2026 State NJ stood out for St. Peter’s Prep, making his presence felt on defense and special teams. Rodriguez was a constant disruptor on defense, mainly when blitzing off the edge. His pressure repeatedly threw off the timing of St. Joe’s offense. He came up with critical tackles for loss and nearly forced a crucial turnover that could have shifted momentum.
Rodriguez didn’t stop there, though. His hustle was evident on special teams, as he made essential tackles and ensured St. Joe’s didn’t break free on returns. His ability to impact multiple game phases makes him a vital player for St. Peter’s Prep.
