It is great to see young, fundamentally-sound, defensive lineman.

is a mismatch due to his speed for offensive tackles at the freshman level. Additionally, Cirino does a great job of playing with a low pad levels, jacking his matchup up and on their heels when he does so. More times than not, we see Cirino get his hands on the man in front of him. Emerging hips are part of the equation too for this budding prospect, as we see him start to work them through when pass rushing. On offense he plays tight end and is used as a size mismatch and, honestly, a lot more in the passing game than you typically see.

is already looking like a player destined for a school with a strong tight end pedigree. Aaren is built to excel at the next level. Only a freshman entering the season, Aaren has plenty of time to prove his worth and show that he can become the top tight end in the state. Aaren can outcompete defenders for the ball, and if he continues to add on size, deliver devastating blocks to opponents. Look for Aaren’s name to be called on early in his career.

– Played for Sayerville
– Also plays baseball
Have seen him live three times in the last four/five months and he just seems to keep growing. Ultimately could see him moving inside to play tight end because of his size. Scored a touchdown in a route over Central Florida at AYF Nationals, but impressed me more with his ability to block. Another sign, that a switch to TE could happen.

Cirino wasn’t on the initial tryout roster the coaches provided me but he was hard to miss at the 14U All-Star tryout with his 6-foot-2 (unverified) height. He was easily the tallest wide receiver at the third session of the day, which showcased quarterbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs. Did a good job at high-pointing the football and gave the quarterbacks a nice window to throw the ball too. I don’t think he’s a shoe-in to make the team by any means, but with his size there’s a future in football (or baseball, his other sport) if he continues to sharpen his skills.
