Daniel Colon Jr Daniel Colon Jr NJ . is one of the premier defensive backs in the state, and he proved it last weekend in Elizabeth, NJ.

Twitchy is one of the best word to describe Daniel’s play on the field. A defender than can anticipate a receiver’s route and react to their movement quickly, Daniel can shut down a route in any direction. What impresses me here is how quickly he diagnosed the route and came out of his back peddle to scream upfield to break up the pass. He showed great range in his abilities, staying in lock step with the receiver as they made their way down the sideline.

Another DB added to the list to watch this weekend, Daniel Colon Jr Daniel Colon Jr NJ . is a true shutdown defender in the secondary. I haven’t gotten the chance to see him live yet, but from what I hear, Daniel is an impressive prospect. A versatile presence in the secondary, Daniel will look to provide Prolific with a no fly zone anywhere he is on the field. He has shown great mirroring skills and route anticipation, jumping routes to break up the ball. I am excited to see what he can do on offense for Prolific this weekend as well.

Last but not least lets look at Daniel Colon Jr. Daniel Colon Jr. 5'5" | 140 lbs | DB St. Peter’s Prep | 2029 NJ Colon projects best as a defensive back at the next level, and his skill at that position is apparent. Colon is a bendy and physical athlete, able to turn and flip his hips quickly on the backpedal, able to stick to receivers like white on rice. Despite giving up a fair amount of size, Colon is fast, strong, and smart, reading his opposition’s moves and anticipating what comes next. Colon also does a good job attacking the ball in the air, showcasing great tracking skills when on the run and enough jumping ability to get up and knock the ball down. Colon has a bright future ahead of him.
