Expert Analysis
Earnest Daniels | Prep Redzone Scout
Jaylin Bullock earns the superlative for “Most Upside” due to the immense potential he possesses as a quarterback in the 2027 class. While he currently exhibits the ability to make a variety of throws with accuracy, including short, intermediate, and deep passes, his true potential lies in the anticipated growth and comfort within the offensive system. As Jaylin becomes more at ease with the playbook and gains familiarity with the offense, the expectation is for him to elevate his game significantly. Although not a dynamic runner presently, his demonstrated capability to buy time in the pocket and extend plays showcases a promising foundation for future development. Jaylin’s accuracy, especially in tight windows, contribute to the belief that he holds the most untapped potential among the quarterbacks in his class. With a lineage tied to his brother Taj Bullock, a former top quarterback prospect, Jaylin is poised to carve his path as one of the most promising quarterbacks, not just in the state, but potentially on a national level. The expectation is that as he progresses into his junior year, his skills will blossom, solidifying his status as a standout quarterback in the making.

is one that looks to have a promising future. Getting some reps in, Jaylin threw a touchdown and ran two in when he got the opportunity to play. Built like an upperclassman, Jaylin is developing into one of the top talents in the state. With a quick release, Jaylin is able to deliver an on time throw, especially in the shorter routes. He can slide around within the pocket, giving himself more time to let his guys get open. A mobile QB, Jaylin has the potential to become a household name within the state very soon.

I was beyond fired up when I saw Bullock signed up for the PRZ Next Rising Prospect Camp in New Jersey. The New Jersey native had a tremendous day from start to finish. Along with

, the pair of 2027 prospects were in a class of their own at the quarterback position. Bullock is a big kid that almost looks like a defensive end or linebacker at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, but when he throws the ball, it’s a thing of beauty. Can spin it with some zip when needed but also knows when to put touch on it. He had great command throughout the day. Just as his older brother, former three-star and now current Akron quarterback Tahj Bullock did, he’ll be at St. Peter’s Prep next year.

had a solid day throwing the ball, the athletic traits are clearly there and the arm talent is undeniable. Bullock can change his footwork, arm angle, and upper body to get throws off from awkward positions. He does a great job of maintaining his velocity on the run and had some really nice touch on his deep throws.

– Quite possibly the most untalked about future star in the class of 2027 when it comes to New Jersey prospects. Right now, has an unverified size of 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds with a thick lower half
– The younger brother of Virginia Tech redshirt sophomore, Tahj Bullock. Tahj Bullock made my National Watchlist when he was in eighth grade and younger brother Jaylin is built very similarly. Like big brother, Jaylin will be off to St. Peter’s Prep in the fall
– Exceptionally quick decision-maker when dropping back in quick game. Has no problem throwing the deep ball, but throws absolute darts in the short-to-intermediate passing game. Works hard in the off-season and will be highly recruited
