Standing tall at 6’2″ and weighing in at 195 lbs, he showcased his remarkable transformation with increased lean muscle in both his lower and upper body. His strong arm was a key asset, delivering deep, accurate passes. He finished with 3 TDs and over 161 total yards, combining passing and rushing efforts decisively. Wood’s poise in the pocket and quick decision-making under pressure highlight his potential as a top-tier QB prospect. A Top college prospect player to watch as he continues to develop!

Will is one the top overall QB prospects in New England for good reason. He is a tireless worker that shines with great QB qualities. His has high level arm strength, can throw the ball downfield with tremendous accuracy and has a quick release. There is not a throw that Will can not make. His footwork in the pocket has improved and his decision making is highlighted by not turning the ball over. Will has received numerous power 4 offers, including Syracuse and Wake Forest.

I was very impressed with how polished his throwing technique and footwork is for a class of 2027. Will’s toolbox is not filled with just his arm talent but also his speed and mobility. He can add a dimension to his game with his legs when needed. In my opinion, Will is one of the top 2027 QBs in Massachusetts

One of the youngest yet most anticipated attendees William Wood William Wood 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Xaverian Brothers | 2027 State New E was a really solid performer for the New England/Florida Outlawz. Splitting time at QB Wood had some very impressive drives and showcased one of the best arms at the Pennsylvania 7v7 Classic. Wood’s arm talent is what separates him from other QBs when you watch him throw. With a very quick release and the ability to generate impressive velocity on the ball, Wood can deliver the ball extremely quickly. Wood also showcases some well-developed footwork for a 2027 QB where he showcases an efficient short step with his front foot and the ability to have his feet, hips, and upper body move in such a smooth pure motion is some high-level stuff.

Wood is an elite prospect in the 2027 class in New England and a player that I have seen in the past at PrepRedzone NEXT camps where he was dominant and won MVP of his position. Wood has great arm talent and elite accuracy at all three levels of the field. Wood can throw on the run and he showcases the ability to adjust is arm angle and make throws to the sideline with good velocity and strength. Excited to see Wood again this weekend.
