Jake was a good player all camp and was someone who did well in all the drills. He has a great frame and moves well for his size. He had a very high compete level during the 1v1s and you could see his physicality in each drill. The Xaverian Brothers offensive linemen has very active feet and is able to hold his ground against multiple types of rushes. Jake was able to play both sides of the line without any trouble so his value and versatility is very high as a prospect.
Good first step in the run blocking drills and shows his ability to stay on the block. Has a tendency to extend his arms when finishing blocks but was not an issue during the camp 1v1s or drills. Jake is a good player for a rising sophomore and will gain exposure and attention over the next year. With his size and ability to move, Jake should be a good college prospect.

Jake gets better every time I see him. He has an excellent Academy performance, showcasing his quick feet and violent hands. He found a lot of comfort on the offensive side, using good posture and balance to win may reps in competition. Jake is young, but getting better every spring. He will be very good, very soon.

Jake has fast feet and can get hands on defenders quickly to anchor and drive down field. In pass pro, he plays with good balance and a wide base. He has good size and a nice skill set. More to come with this young lineman.

Jake stood out to me immediately because of his size. He has verified measurables at 6’2″ and 305 lbs.
Jake moved well for size and age. He is a young prospect that is going to improve quickly with the more reps he plays. You could see during drills that he was working through and trying to apply new techniques he was being taught.
I am going to keep my eye on Loynd. He will really benefit with an off-season spent in the weight room.
