Many people had word to say on us ranking Jordan Montgomery Jordan Montgomery 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Roman Catholic | 2023 State PA as a top 25 prospect in his class. His efforts thus far have us looking like we know what we are talking about. You can even make the case we still have him too low. Montgomery currently leads the Cahillites in total tackles (35), and interceptions (2), while bringing down ball carriers for a loss eight times. Roman deploys many DL/LB hybrids that are so athletic, they can practically play anywhere in the front seven. Montgomery teamed up with Lyons and Patterson at EDGE or OLB is unfair. The production doesn’t tell the whole story. Excited to see this group up close and personal again.

The athleticism amongst prospects at this program is ridiculous. Jordan Montgomery Jordan Montgomery 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Roman Catholic | 2023 State PA , who is one of the state’s best defensive linemen left unsigned, can provide real reps at linebacker or even running back if the team needed it, not that the team does. Montgomery will flash real twitch and smooth lateral agility in the open field. Don’t get it twisted, the young man is natural on defense and could easily provide quality pass rush reps opposite of Jameial Lyons Jameial Lyons 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL Roman Catholic | 2023 State PA .

Jordan Montgomery Jordan Montgomery 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Roman Catholic | 2023 State PA might be the most athletic prospect on this list, that’s saying something. I have spoken before about just how special this kid is anywhere in the front seven. He has the size to keep up in the interior, which would be too quick for guards to handle. He can play the edge, showing a track-like get-off off the snap. He can play any of the linebacker spots, showing off his instincts to play both the run and the pass. One of my favorite players that is often overlooked in recruiting circles. Syracuse, Temple, and Maryland are hot on his trail.
