. And for the third straight season, Robb scored a touchdown in the state championship game. Robb would finish with 29 yards and a fourth quarter touchdown. He was also Bixby’s leading tackler on defense with 12 tackles on the night as the Spartans were determined to not only go out on top, but absolutely dominate the Owasso offense. With the exception of Owasso’s only touchdown, Bixby’s defense gave up just 121 yards of total offense on the night. Robb and the rest of the Bixby defense were flying all over the field and it definitely had a big impact on the outcome of the game. Robb, more known as a wrestler when it comes to the next level, has been a heckuva high school football player.

has been making plays for the Spartans for six or seven years now. One of the best wrestlers in the state, Robb plays like it on the football field. Whether it’s as a running back who is nearly impossible to bring down in a 1 on 1 situation, or on defense when he is one of the hardest hitting guys on the team, Robb has made a tremendous impact on the Spartans this season. On offense, Robb has been one of Bixby’s top threats in the run game. He had a terrific performance against the Rams when these two teams met back in August. And he’s also coming off a semifinal win over Jenks where he shined on offense and defense. Robb has been one of the more important pieces to Bixby’s run this season.

. The Spartan offense have several weapons on the offensive side of the ball but Robb is that consistent presence at running back that the Spartans can trust to be a workhorse when they need him. And that’s bad news for Norman North as they attempt to be the first team since Jenks in the 2018 season opener to beat the Spartans. Norman North is coming off an upset loss to Yukon, where the Millers were able to gash the Timberwolves with a strong running game. Bixby will come into this game looking to remain incredibly balanced on the offensive side of the ball but there’s no doubt that Robb has to be excited about the match-up and will look to rack up some numbers on Friday.
