One of the breakout prospects of this group is Jenks defensive end Jack Standlee Jack Standlee 6'4" | DL Jenks | 2023 State OK and that’s saying something considering he missed time with nagging injuries throughout his senior season. But when we watched Standlee in person and on film, it’s really hard not to be impressed with not only his play on the field but his potential moving forward. Standlee has a very impressive frame that makes him a very intriguing prospect when it comes to the next level. As he continues to work in the weight room, he’s going to be an absolute nightmare coming off the edge. Standlee signed on the dotted line with Pitt State earlier this week and that could end up being an absolute steal.

The second Trojan defender that’s new to the rankings is defensive lineman Jack Standlee Jack Standlee 6'4" | DL Jenks | 2023 State OK . We mentioned with Crissup how the Trojans have been bit by the injury bug and Standlee was one of them earlier this year. But he has been able to return and have an impact along the defensive line. Standlee has impressive size at 6’5 and he definitely looks the part coming off the edge. And the Trojans lost some big time playmakers along their defensive line. Most notably defensive end Coleman Thurber. Standlee is attempting to replace that production from a year ago and with his measurables and skills, we expect his recruitment to take off.

A lot of what we wrote about Cooper Crissup Cooper Crissup 6'1" | LB Jenks | 2023 State OK can be followed up right here with Jenks’ senior standout defensive lineman Jack Standlee Jack Standlee 6'4" | DL Jenks | 2023 State OK . The defensive line was an area where we were interested to see how they would replace some of the key losses to graduation. Standlee is an experienced player with good size and is playing with a lot of momentum as they head into the Backyard Bowl with Union. He’ll be going against a Union offensive line that is incredibly talented and experienced but he could be receiving some help at that position. One of the two-way players for Jenks that has been out with an injury could return on Friday night. Standlee and the Jenks defensive line will look to set the tone for Jenks defense that might come into this game as an underdog, but they’re playing like anything but.
