is a 2027 prospect that has seen his recruitment go scorched earth this offseason. Similar to Brackney, there was a stretch in the last few months where Daniel was getting offers on an almost daily basis. Daniel was somewhat banged up earlier in his career and that limited what he was able to do during his freshman and sophomore seasons. Daniel has been a 2027 prospect that we’ve liked since first watching him even prior to entering high school. It was clear with his size and overall athletic ability that he had some real potential. But prior to his junior season, there were different blockades in the way of realizing that potential. That all changed in 2025 and we cannot wait to see how he continues that momentum this spring and summer. Just like Brackney, Daniel made a massive jump up the rankings in this update, boosting up 23 spots to #18 overall.

If you’re looking for a breakout star of the 2025 season, junior hybrid tight end

could end up being that player for the Trojans. Daniel has been a name that we’ve talked about since he was a freshman and he’s dealt with injuries and adjusting to a new program after moving from Booker T Washington to Jenks. But after we watched Daniel multiple times this offseason, we’re confident that it’s only a matter of time for that breakout moment for Daniel. The Jenks junior really impressed us when we caught him in the spring. The Trojans have the potential to light up the scoreboard this fall and Daniel is a player that we have circled for that breakout season.

was a player that we had circled coming into last season but he could never really get off the ground in his first year in the Trojan offense. Between injuries and a relatively loaded depth chart, the opportunities were just limited. Now, we’re back up on Daniel and think he could be on the verge of a breakout season. Daniel has always impressed us from an overall skill and size perspective. But we were waiting to see him perform at a high level under the bright lights of Friday nights. This season might be the year that we see it. If this offseason was any indication, Daniel is going to be a big part of what the Trojans do offensively. He had a solid offseason playing in 7v7 tournaments but we were more impressed with watching him go to work with the pads on in a team camp setting, where he dominated.

is going to be an intriguing prospect to watch over the next two years. Because as of right now, we think he’s a tight end but he’s also athletic enough to not be that traditional tight end on the edge of an offensive line. And Jenks is very deep on the offensive side of the ball in the skill department so Daniel hasn’t had as many opportunities as some of the other prospects on this breakdown. But the size, athleticism and skill is all there for him to be a guy to know moving forward. He’s in a program that really likes to utilize guys like him as a pass catcher and as a physical player who can pave the way as a blocker.

is one of them. Daniel is a 2027 prospect that has been on our radar even before he entered high school. He spent his freshman season at Booker T Washington and he now enters a Jenks offense that is absolutely loaded at the skill positions and is going to be loaded for a long time. Daniel is also a standout on the basketball floor but after watching him run around this offseason at 7v7 tournaments and our camp in April, we’re looking forward to seeing how he looks in the new Jenks offense.

recently announced that he was moving from Booker T Washington to Jenks and he’s joining an offense that could be one of the top units in 6A-1 this fall. Daniel has had a very busy offseason between basketball and 7v7 football and he came out looking for more competition on Saturday. He had a good day and we will definitely have our eyes on him this spring. The only question we had with him as a prospect is where does he end up fitting from a position standpoint.

It should be no surprise but Booker T Washington has some potentially special prospects in the 2027 class. Tight end

came into his freshman season with some hype and he was circled as one of those 2027 guys that could turn out to be special. He’s an outstanding two-sport athlete and had a lot of success before entering high school. Daniel is a big tight end hybrid-type prospect where he could split out at wide receiver or line up on the end of the line of scrimmage. Daniel is athletic enough to act as a wide receiver but he’s also big and physical enough to be a traditional tight end. The Hornets struggled as a team in 2023 but they’ll get a fresh start this fall, dropping down to Class 5A for the next two seasons. We’re looking forward to seeing how Daniel’s production

No surprise here as the prospect factory known as Booker T Washington already has a few notable prospects in this 2027 class. Earlier this week we put a spotlight on a standout defensive lineman but wide receiver

is a name on offense that you need to know about moving forward. Daniel was on our radar after this offseason and he’s lived up to the hype so far this season. The Hornets are playing Daniel primarily at wide receiver but he also looks like a future tight end prospect. Daniel has a good physical frame and some athleticism to his game. He’s also a standout on the basketball floor and that has translated.

Whenever you’re talking about talented freshmen before they head into high school, you can almost certainly bring up Booker T Washington because year in and year out, they usually have a few top guys in each class. The 2027 class is no different and

is a tight end prospect that we’ll be keeping an eye on as the Hornets head into the 2023 football season. Daniel already looks the part physically and it’s hard not to be impressed by that. And the Hornets feel like a young team, especially on the offensive side of the ball so Daniel might find his way into the lineup sooner rather than later. Daniel is also a standout on the basketball floor so Booker T Washington appears to have another dual-sport star in the making.

Braxton is a big tight end with crazy upside. A 6’3 and 180-pound frame like Braxton’s is rare to find in his age group right now, and for him to be able to move the way that he does is icing on the cake. At tight end, Braxton is a long strider who knows how to get open and find voids in the defense. With his strong route running, Braxton has natural ball skills that allow him to catch any ball in any circumstance seamlessly. Overall, Braxton already has the size to play at the next level and it won’t be long until his recruiting begins to heat up in a major way.
