was identified by the Jenks coaches early on in his high school career as a guy that would turn some heads. And over the last few seasons, he’s backed up that hype, becoming one of the unquestioned leaders on the Jenks defense. He might not have the prototypical size as some of the other prospects that play his position. But throw on the tape, watch him in person and you see a player that doesn’t let size questions even come up. Competing against Oklahoma’s best at the highest level for the last few years, McInelly has firmly established himself as one of the more dominant defensive linemen in this class.

enjoyed a monster breakout season last year as a sophomore. McInelly was lined up against some of the best offensive linemen in the state at various times last year and it didn’t matter. He brought the fight to them on every snap and held his own. On the season, McInelly would finish with 70 tackles and seven sacks. It doesn’t matter where he lines up on the line of scrimmage, he finds a way into the backfield and causes problems for the opposing offense. Now, the front seven is an area that we have circled because the Trojans lost D1 players at DL and LB. But if McInelly takes the next step in his progression, they should be fine up front.

ended up being one of our favorite players to watch from the 2027 class. McInelly isn’t the biggest guy on the line of scrimmage and that didn’t matter at all. McInelly was an absolute fighter every single week and he brought an intensity that allowed him to routinely get into the backfield and cause absolute chaos up front. McInelly also had the benefit of lining up with a USC signee along that Jenks defensive line. So one thing that we’ll be watching this fall is how McInelly looks when he’s one of the main threats on that Jenks defensive line. But based on what we’ve already seen from him, it shouldn’t be a problem. McInelly was a menace on the line of scrimmage in 2024 and that should continue in 2025.

is an absolute monster on the defensive line for the Trojans. Where does he project at the next level with his size? No idea but throw on the film and watch his disruptive production. The thing that we like the most about McInelly is how he has performed against some of the better opponents on the Jenks schedule. If a prospect has a big game against an inferior opponent, that’s what he was supposed to do. One of McInelly’s best performances came against Owasso, who has one of the better OL units in the state. McInelly does a great job of shedding blocks at the perfect time to make a play on the ball carrier.

was a late addition to this 2027 ranking update but he definitely deserves to be mentioned. The Jenks sophomore has been absolutely tearing it up in the last month. From spring ball to various college camps, McInelly has made a significant impression on both his high school coaches and the college coaches working with him at these camps. We’re fired up to see what he’s able to do on a Jenks defensive line that has talent but there’s also room for some new names to step up. That could certainly be a spot for McInelly to become an impact player and breakout defender for the Trojans and their outstanding defense this season.
