late in his sophomore season. There were always signs that he could be the next elite offensive tackle to come out of the Jenks football program. Oruru has turned into an absolute monster and is the perfect example of just how talented and deep the state’s 2027 class truly is. In most years in the last decade, Oruru would be a no doubt, top ten overall prospect. In this class, he’s knocking on the door of the top ten and is #3 at his position. But throw on the tape and you see a player with top ten talent. He anchored one of the tackle spots for a very talented Jenks offensive line last season and paved the way for a 2,000+ yard rusher. Earlier this offseason, Oruru announced his commitment to Arkansas and we still think some of his best football continues to be ahead of him.

At this time last year, we had our eyes on junior offensive lineman

as a potential breakout player if he put all the tools together. And as a sophomore, he did just that. Oruru became the starting left tackle for a pretty talented Jenks offensive line and he has all the makings of that type of prospect for the next level. The scary part of Oruru’s game is it still feels like he has so much room to grow and the ceiling continues to get higher and higher for him as a prospect. The Jenks junior will look to set the tone on the line of scrimmage as a left tackle and take that next step as a prospect. The state’s 2027 OL group is incredibly talented at the top but Oruru belongs near that group.

When we look back at the Jenks offensive line in 2024, you will probably see three starters that eventually land at the D1 level. The youngest of that group is

and out of those three starters, it’s Oruru who might have the highest ceiling moving forward as a true college prospect. That doesn’t mean he’s the best right now because it looks like he’s just scratching the surface on what he can be but there is no doubt that the potential is there. Oruru lined up at one of the offensive tackle positions in 2024 and it fit him very nicely, considering he’s a long but athletic guy that does an excellent job of keeping defensive ends out of the backfield. Moving forward, Oruru is going to be a name to know and he’s one of a handful of prospects that will be knocking on the door of the top ten this year.

a newcomer to the top ten rankings, he’s a newcomer to the rankings in general. Oruru was on our radar prior to this season but it was mostly for his work on the defensive line. We were waiting for him to have that breakout moment and it looks like it’s happened but on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Oruru debuts in our 2027 rankings as an offensive lineman and he’s part of a Jenks offensive line that features multiple D1 guys. And earlier this season, Oruru joined the ranks by picking up his first D1 offer. And like we said, we’ve been waiting for that breakout moment and it was clear to us earlier this year that it was happening for him. He still has some work to do to challenge for the top spot at the position but this is a good start.

Odaefe is a stunning two-sport athlete that continues to shine in the class of 2027. Odaefe is one of those unique offensive linemen who play both football and basketball at a very competitive level. With his 6’5 frame, Odaefe dominates with his size and strength when he is in the trenches. The most impressive thing about Oruru however, is his ability to move the way he does with his size. With everything that I have seen from Odaefe, he is trending toward being one of the top offensive linemen in the state, if not the country.

is a trench warrior to keep an eye on as he heads into his high school career. Odaefe is a BIG 6’5 and 235-pound dual-sport athlete coming out of Oklahoma football factory that is Jenks. With him being a prospect with both size and athleticism, there’s a lot to be excited about here. Also dominant on the hardwood, he generates enough upwards forcer to get up and dunk with his big frame. This translates over to the football field through the proven explosion that Oruru has. He moves well for his height, weight and length, which should have a lot of Offensive Line coaches at the next level drooling. With his frame and decent bulk right now, a year or two from now could be scary. The big man has a standing invitation for the Rising Prospect camp in Oklahoma on April 30th and we hope to see him there.

In the feeder system of one of the traditional Oklahoma powerhouse programs in Jenks, Oruru is a kid that should excite a lot of college progrtams. He’s 6-foot-4 and 240-pounds, with a high level of athleticism that is brought on with his ability on the basketball court.
