About Frank

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Well, people say I am very physical, powerful and tough LB at the line of scrimmage. I love contact! I also play FB and I love knocking LBs like myself down, LOL. I probably one of the strongest players on our team and the league. Wait to you see my speed this season, that's all I've been working on.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I've been playing football since I was 5 yrs old. I have high football IQ and I am a student of watching film. I will smile after the task is done, STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. "Winner's Never Quit and Quitter's Never Win"

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the Nat'l Honors Society, Italian Honors Society, English Honors Society. I am studying for my Black Belt in Karate. I also started a Street Combat Club at my HS.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe that leadership starts in the classroom. At IP its not just about what you do on the field, its what you do off the field. At IP we believe that a key to our success on the field starts in the weight room, I live in it. I believe in my faith and part of that is helping others. I've chosen to help feed the hungry in my community service throughout high school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I live in Long Island, I made a decision go to Iona Prep to not only challenge myself academically but as a football player as well. My day starts early and ends late. It was my choice and I don't regret it.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to go to a university or college of my choice with the highest level of education and if God grants me the ability to play football, great.

Rugged LB that comes up the middle of the A-gaps to stop the ball carriers from advancing for further yardage. Not an overly athletic LB and leans heavily on his power. Dellarosa is a physical LB that will be a secure tackler once he gets his hands on the opponents. At length, the special team’s availability is at high volumes for him, as he was used on the kickoff defending and return units with outstanding hustle.
