and we’re going to lead it off with this. Both of these linemen are criminally under ranked right now. That will change in June with the next update. McClure is an absolute beast and that’s no surprise as Bixby has turned into a program that not only dominates the scoreboard, they dominate on the line of scrimmage. It seems like the Spartans are always producing outstanding offensive linemen and they have a couple in the 2024 class. McClure lined up at right guard last season and was a match-up nightmare in Bixby’s running game, that uses a lot of misdirection and blockers pulling down the line. McClure excelled in those situations as he has quick feet and can move for a big man. His hand placement was another thing that really stood out to me as he dominated almost everyone he got his hands on. His recruitment is starting to take off and it should only continue as we get closer to spring football. We are interested to see if McClure will stay at the guard position or move to another spot along the offensive line in 2023.
