Expert Analysis
Andy Pham | Prep Redzone Scout
Coy is a hybrid, but he slots in as a move tight end and one that you can move around and use as a weapon. He has length and a large catch radius. He still has room to grow into his frame, and that’s partly the reason why I prefer him as a Tight End; he should get over 220 lbs and can be a mismatch if he goes that direction. Coy is someone who has good footwork, plays above the rim, has good ball tracking skills, and movement patterns are good. He transitions upfield easily with little wasted movement. Orem might have a log jam at Tight End, so he might play the big slot or fill in as a boundary receiver, but if they slot him as an H-Back and get him in motion, he is a player that can have a big season. There are traits to like with Coy.
