earned Co-Offensive Player of the Year, and his season fully justified the honor.
For much of the year, Bell had St. Peter’s Prep operating like a well-oiled machine. Over 25 career starts, he rewrote parts of the program’s record book, finishing with 55 career touchdowns—second all-time in school history—and 4,015 passing yards, which ranks fourth all-time.
However, the growth went beyond numbers. This season, Bell took a clear step forward as a leader. His poise under pressure improved, and that composure kept the offense efficient in big moments. As a result, St. Peter’s Prep enjoyed one of its most productive offensive seasons in school history.
Physically, the tools have always been there. Bell has a big arm and can drive the ball downfield. When calm in the pocket, his deep-ball accuracy consistently showed up. That development didn’t go unnoticed, as he ultimately flipped his commitment from UMass to the University of Delaware.
In every sense, Bell looked like a senior quarterback. He led. He produced. And he delivered when it mattered. The award simply capped a season that will be remembered as one of the most impactful quarterback runs in St. Peter’s Prep history.

flipped his commitment from UMass to the University of Delaware. Bell is coming off a career season, throwing for more than 1,700 yards and 29 touchdowns, and he did it while running an up-tempo offense with confidence and precision.
To start, Bell showed he could attack every level of the field. His deep ball improved dramatically, and he consistently hit explosive throws that stretched defenses. Moreover, he made strong decisions, operated with poise, and looked completely in control of Prep’s offense — traits that naturally caught the attention of bigger college programs.
With Bell flipping to Delaware, it’s clear his stock was on the rise. The timing is also notable. Just a week earlier, St. Joe’s Regional star

decommitted from Delaware. Instead of staying idle, the Blue Hens moved quickly and locked in Bell, another high-level Super Conference quarterback.
There’s another interesting layer here. Delaware’s current starting quarterback, Nick Minicucci, also came out of Don Bosco Prep. This tells you the Blue Hens’ staff is extremely comfortable recruiting New Jersey’s Super Conference and trusting its quarterbacks to lead their program.
Ultimately, Delaware is landing a polished signal-caller with room to grow. If Bell continues refining his decision-making and builds on the momentum from his senior season, he has the tools to develop into a very solid college quarterback — and this flip adds major intrigue to Delaware’s future.
After careful consideration and talks with my family and coaches, I have made the decision to decommit from UMass. I am now 100% committed to The University of Delaware 🟡🔵 #GoHens #HENergy @Delaware_FB @UDBlueHens @ryancarty10 @CoachGoldrich @ryanoccc pic.twitter.com/LLjPdYZGtR

delivered another standout playoff performance. He controlled the offense from the opening snap, throwing for two touchdowns and adding another score on the ground. He showed, once again, that he can beat defenses with both his arm and his legs.
Bell pushed the ball downfield with confidence and kept St. Peter’s Prep in a fast rhythm. His poise allowed the offense to play at a high tempo, and his command made every drive feel calculated. Then he added a different dimension in the read-option game, keeping the ball when needed and punishing St. Augustine with his rushing ability.
Bell has been impressive all season as a dual-threat quarterback. And in this 31–17 win, he proved exactly why he’s the engine behind St. Peter’s Prep’s postseason run.

delivered a clutch performance in St. Peter’s Prep’s showdown with St. Joe’s. The senior quarterback finished the day completing 17 of 23 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a tough rushing score at the goal line.
What separated Bell’s performance was his poise under pressure. In critical moments, he kept his composure, executed the offense smoothly, and showed his ability to deliver accurate throws in tight situations. The highlight of his day came late, when he found Hunter Watson Hunter Watson 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR St. Peter’s Prep | 2026 State NJ for the game-winning touchdown, swinging momentum away from St. Joe’s and sealing the Prep victory.

from St. Peter’s Prep has committed to UMass. One of New Jersey’s top dual-threat quarterbacks, Bell brings a strong arm, quick decision-making in tempo systems, and the ability to create outside the pocket. He thrives in fast-paced offenses and can hurt defenses with both his arm and legs. UMass, looking to boost its program and player compensation efforts, gets a high-upside QB who needs to continue growing as a leader and field general.

rose up in the rankings after the performances he put on this fall. Throwing for just under 2000 yards this season and 27 touchdowns, Tyler lit it up through the air as he led St. Peter’s Prep to a 4 win season in his second year as the starter. What I am most impressed with out of Tyler is his ability to decipher the defense, see the full field and movement of the secondary, and hit his man in stride when he finds the hole in the coverage. Delivering the ball with the appropriate amount of touch, Tyler can get the ball over coverages or zip it in before the defenders can react.
To go with his passing skills is Tyler’s athletic abilities. Tyler is sneaky fast, a nimble ball carrier, and can get skinny within the pocket to avoid the pass rush and keep the play alive. He has a way of avoiding the chaos and staying calm throughout the play, throwing an accurate, off platform throw. Tyler can hurt a defense through the air and on the ground, as he ran in 6 touchdowns and 409 yards last season.

from St. Peter’s Prep had a breakout year in 2024, finally playing an entirely healthy season. He threw for over 1,900 yards and 27 touchdowns. At 6’1” and 180 pounds, he’s among the most well-rounded quarterbacks in the 2026 class. However, adding bulk to his frame would help, especially since he’s had injury concerns.
As a passer, Tyler can access all levels of the field. His deep ball accuracy is outstanding, shown in his game against Moore Catholic, where he had four touchdowns of 20+ yards. He’s deadly accurate when throwing deep. He’s also a dual-threat, able to make plays with his legs when needed.
One area for growth is his ability to stay focused when things aren’t going well. Whether his team is up or down, Tyler needs to maintain focus, review his reads, and consistently hit targets. If he can fine-tune those details, he will have the tools to challenge for the top spot in the 2026 class.
