Briggs has transformed himself into a complete three-down back and improved his quick burst and overall speed. Last year, he was a thumper that did well in between the tackles, but this year, he is getting to the edge and creating separation on the field when doing so, and has been effective in the passing game, and he is a receiver that doesn’t fight with the ball. Plenty of traits to like.

Briggs has been exceptional this season. He is a physical and bruising back that shows good quickness and agility. He has soft hands as a receiver and is a bellcow back. He has the contact balance to absorb defenders, and he has the quickness to spurt away. He’s been fantastic the past couple of seasons and should get offers that come his way.
