Jackson has all the tools needed and he’s been a rotational piece at Corner Canyon in that high powered offense. Corner Canyon is now in a transition period and there’s lots of questions to be had. But someone with no questions is Jackson. He is an exciting runner who has good vision and hits the hole, and once he gets past the first level can finish off his run with power or can use his lateral quickness and get to the edge. He should be a big part of the offense for the upcoming season, and he is a player who is a complete three-down back that can do everything from pass blocking to picking up the tough, in-between-the-tackles yards for a first down, and he has the explosiveness to keep linebackers on their toes.

Jackson measured well and looked good during the positional drills and showed good footwork and elusiveness. He had some good one on one reps during the throwing session and is a prospect that should take full advantage of his final season ahead.

Jackson has been effective in limited opportunities the past two seasons, and he is primed to take over as the lead back. He shows good vision, is a patient runner behind the line, and has good quickness and overall speed to his game. He does well in getting small through the first level and survives initial contact, he’s waited his turn, and he is primed to show his skill set and should garner D1 looks.

Carruth climbs nearly 50 spots and comes in as the 56th overall prospect. He’s a three down back with great hands and a weapon in the receiving game. Carruth is a runner who is patient, will run between the tackles, and has the speed to get to the edge. He should be the third back this year and be primed for a lead role next season, he has the tools to excel.

Carruth is a good athlete and is a patient runner behind the line and showcases good vision and will follow his blocks and then explode once he gets into space. He has good contact balance and brings some physicality to his game. Carruth’s best trait is his soft hands, he doesn’t fight with the ball and he showcases his athleticism by easily catching outside his frame and transitioning upfield with no wasted movement. He has good speed and has a good upside.
