Jayden has put on good size this year and he’s been an effective pass rusher that has been needed for Corner Canyon. He can work as an EDGE rusher and move inside if needed. He shows good physicality and has active hands. He shows good enough hip bend to get around the corner and has the strength to overwhelm his linemen. He should garner late offers.
Jayden has been the pass rusher that Corner Canyon has missed the past couple of seasons. He’s been good at creating pressure and getting to the quarterback. He is quick off the line and is versatile enough to line up inside or outside. He is a defensive lineman who has good closing speed, violent hands, and can shed his blocks.
Pearce will be tasked to clog the run game and create pressure. He has good size, can work at any of the defensive line positions and shows good quickness to be an edge rusher and has the physicality to work inside. He’s been a key player thus far in the season and he’ll be leaned on once again.
Pearce was effective in limited action last year and is one of the best pass rushers on the team. He has good size and versatility. He can line up inside to be a power rusher and aid in run support, and he can be an edge rusher, where he can pin his ears back and go. He moves well laterally, has good overall movement patterns, and is a defender with good active hands. He is primed to break out and be a key pass rusher and could very well flirt with double-digit sacks this season.
Pearce has a good frame and size. He’s a player who can continue to bulk up, but showcases good strength as is. He is a good rusher who can play inside and outside. That versatility allows him to be a mismatch anywhere he lines up. As an EDGE rusher, he shows a good first step, with quick, violent hands, and showcases a good bend and closing speed to get around the edge to the ball carrier. As an interior rusher, he showcases good power and easily sheds his blockers, and he has the strength to toss his lineman to the side. Pearce is an active rusher with good pursuit and is a player who should get regionally recruited.
