With this, I wanted to highlight some of the teams with the most loaded 2027 classes according to our rankings and watchlist.

Here are four teams that enter the 2026 season loaded with senior prospects:

Omaha Westside

Omaha Westside has a loaded senior class with a good mix of experienced starters and new names with high ceilings. The main stars of the show are 4-star Mizzou commit [player_tooltip player_id='487734' first='Braylen' last='Warren'] and elite RB [player_tooltip player_id='1085158' first='TayTay' last='Jenkins']. Braylen is entering his third season as a starter for the Warriors and has shown that he can pick apart defenses with his arm or tuck the ball to move the chains with his legs. TayTay is an explosive, twitchy RB who has been giving defenses fits since his sophomore season; an excellent runner and a sneaky-good receiving back. [player_tooltip player_id='1085136' first='Bryce' last='Johnson Jr'], who is committed to the North Dakota Fighting Hawks, joins the Warriors after putting up 900+ receiving yards and 9 touchdowns with Bellevue West. His deep-ball prowess and ability to win 50-50 balls could put this offense over the top. With him are fellow senior receivers [player_tooltip player_id='1085128' first='Andrew' last='Tagge'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2158752' first='Adrian' last='Gonzales'], who should play bigger roles on offense. [player_tooltip player_id='1085103' first='Graham' last='Hoffart'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2111715' first='Kantrelle' last='Clifton'] will be two players to watch on the defensive line after showing several flashes of their potential last season. [player_tooltip player_id='1192553' first='Kordai' last='Richard'] is a transfer from Omaha North who has two seasons of starting experience in their secondary, which should be huge in what will be a re-tooled secondary, and could provide extra depth as a receiver or return man.

Millard South

The Millard South Patriots have all eyes on becoming the first Class A team to three-peat since the legendary Creighton Prep teams of the 80's. They will have quite the cast as they head on this journey with the top overall prospect in the state and Nebraska commit [player_tooltip player_id='426566' first='Trae' last='Taylor']. Trae made waves this offseason after transferring from Carmel Catholic (IL) to join the powerhouse Patriots and be closer to the Husker team. Joining him was 4-star WR [player_tooltip player_id='1014317' first='Antayvious' last='Ellis'], who went off facing off Texas secondaries and will now look to terrorize Nebraska DBs. Fellow receivers [player_tooltip player_id='1085156' first='Landon' last='Schneider'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1699850' first='Jesse' last='Johnson'] are two players liable to explode this season after patiently waiting for their time to shine. TE [player_tooltip player_id='2229890' first='Carter' last='Margheim'] is a very intriguing prospect with next-level size at 6'5" and 225 pounds... could be a secret weapon to watch for. Speaking of size, 6'6" OT [player_tooltip player_id='1161723' first='Stevie' last='Grabowski'], [player_tooltip player_id='1085124' first='Hunter' last='Allen'], [player_tooltip player_id='1085126' first='Henry' last='Ziemba'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1085099' first='Grant' last='Howland'] are some names to watch out for on the offensive line, where the Patriots have been on a great run of pumping out college prospects. Defensively, Millard South lost a lot of talent from a historic defense but have also re-tooled very well with players like [player_tooltip player_id='1085125' first='Urban' last='Kennedy'], who was highly productive at LB, Lincoln East transfer and multi-sport star [player_tooltip player_id='644078' first='Colton' last='Tucker'], who plays like a pitbull at LB, and players like DL [player_tooltip player_id='2229892' first='Dakota' last='Bunz'], DL [player_tooltip player_id='1198011' first='Kelsen' last='Dizona'], and DB [player_tooltip player_id='1699842' first='Aidan' last='Marshall'] who played limited roles last season but are primed for big increases in play time.

Millard North

The Millard North Mustangs ended last season on a hot streak after an up-and-down start and now look like one of the favorites to play at Memorial Stadium next November. They receive a massive boost in the arrival of Nebraska safety commit [player_tooltip player_id='422820' first='Tory' last='Pittman III'] and 3-star RB [player_tooltip player_id='212374' first='Kylonn' last='Haynie']. Tory is a super rangy, versatile safety who will be paired with South Dakota State commit [player_tooltip player_id='1085106' first='Josiah' last='Wardlow'], who is also very athletic with great ball skills. Kylonn's gritty, physical run-style, paired with 6'8" Nebaska commit [player_tooltip player_id='1085067' first='Matt' last='Erickson'], paving the way, is going to be a nightmare to try to stop this fall. The QB1 picture is still a little murky, as we should see Platteview transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1271571' first='Logan' last='Grosdidier'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1692207' first='Holden' last='Laird'] compete for the starting role. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='720132' first='Evan' last='Robinson'] comes over from Lincoln Southwest and should be a valuable piece along the Mustangs defensive front seven. Alongside him is [player_tooltip player_id='1192414' first='Drew' last='Nelsen'], who was a game-wrecker when playing downhill and proved to be effective in coverage, and [player_tooltip player_id='1085146' first='Austin' last='Ruhter'], who plays with a high motor and is constantly near the ball. This roster is also filled with versatile athletes, including DB Cecilio Lorendon III, ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1085111' first='Justin' last='Barnes'] Jr, DB/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1085193' first='JaRon' last='Faughn'], and WR [player_tooltip player_id='1085107' first='Shaun' last='Hall'], who should all be able to fill in important roles. DL [player_tooltip player_id='2065788' first='Al' last='Holzapfel'] is a player we got to evaluate in person last winter and could be headed for a breakout season.

Omaha North

Rundown: The North Vikings enter 2026 primed for another deep playoff run, with a group of seniors who bring talent and experience all over the field. Offensively, their biggest strength is on the offensive line, where the Vikings return starters like [player_tooltip player_id='2071048' first='Ethan' last='Hays'], [player_tooltip player_id='1662623' first='Devin' last='Cox'], and Alex Weber. They also get a huge boost in the addition of CB Jefferson, OT [player_tooltip player_id='1204466' first='Malik' last='Nichols'], who joins the PRZNE rankings as a top 50 prospect. This is a group that helped pave the way for one of the more potent run games in Class A last season. They will also have a solid group of versatile players like [player_tooltip player_id='1085195' first='Anthony' last='Kellogg II'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1775928' first='Tyris' last='Shelly'], who are TE/H-back hybrids who can block or break out and run routes as receivers. The Vikings' defense should be stacked with playmakers across all three levels. [player_tooltip player_id='1662623' first='Devin' last='Cox'] should be the star on the defensive line as he's already started to garner attention from D1 and high-level D2 programs. [player_tooltip player_id='487729' first='Jayden' last='Cannon'] looks to be moving into more of an LB role after playing safety. His ability to defend the run and be fluid in coverage will be huge in the second level. The secondary will be highlighted by [player_tooltip player_id='547140' first='Re'Aire' last='Washington'], who has announced his commitment to perennial FCS contender North Dakota. Re'Aire is a lockdown, physical corner who can faze out receivers while also being able to come up with turnovers. There are players like [player_tooltip player_id='2160585' first='Eli' last='Love'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2159669' first='Austin' last='Allen'] who flashed in limited roles as juniors, but will likely receive more reps in the secondary and possibly receiver.

Make sure to follow @PRZ_OscarG for more news on Nebraska and Iowa HS recruiting.
