With an impressive OL group in attendance for South Dakota State’s second prospect camp of the summer, Nebraska’s and Omaha North’s Ethan Hays walked away with OL MVP honors. A can’t-miss and impressive standout from all three phases of Session 1, Hays popped off a 4.89 40 at 250 lbs. (!), not to mention an 8′ broad, and he was quick, fluid, and controlled during drill work, displaying overall dynamic movement ability for a lineman of his size. Hays was also a bulldozer during offset base and run blocking, 1v1 competition against DL and fellow OL, and Hays also showed off his light, nimble feet, patient and effective punch, and consistent technique and competitiveness all were highlighted well during 1v1 pass pro/rush reps.
The rising senior currently has offers from Pitt State, Peru State, Sioux Falls, MSU-Mankato, Highland CC, Washburn, Augustana, NW Missouri State, Wayne State, but it’s not a stretch to think this Omaha North product could hold up well in the interior of a D1 OL, whether on signing day or someday in his collegiate career.

An offensive linemen with rising stock brewing this week with two offers, is Omaha North’s Ethan Hays Ethan Hays 6'3" | 250 lbs | OL Omaha North | 2027 State NE . The 6’3 265 pounder, picked up his first D2 offer this week from D2 powerhouse MSU-Mankato and man, the first two clips will tell you what the Mavericks saw on tape. Ethan is a grinder with his hands that you can tell has intriguing arm length and demonstrates great pinning hands that drives defensive linemen miles off the ball. His ability to multi-engage on blockers also shows off the excellent work ethic this young man has as one in the offensive trenches that is always on the hunt for more. He surely could be one of the bigger names out of this OL list by the end of summer camp season. Surely expect more NSIC schools to get involved with this young man.
