All across the Charlotte Metro Area & beyond in Week 7, there were big-time performances, and we're going to highlight them here with a bit of commentary tacked on as well for select players. Please make sure you are sharing your performances with me via Twitter/X @pepman704, especially if you are in the Charlotte Metro Area, to be considered for inclusion! We will have this series all year long on Prep Redzone North Carolina, and we will recognize everyone – including linemen! Stats and film will help a TON when being evaluated for inclusion! All right, let's get started.

[player_tooltip player_id='1788452' first='Jeremiah' last='Benton'] - Lincoln Charter - 142 Rushing Yards, 3 Touchdowns, 82 Receiving Yards, TD in win over Langtree - We've seen a lot from Lincoln Charter QB [player_tooltip player_id='1687747' first='Braydon' last='Walden'] so far this season, but Benton has been on the receiving end for a lot of those passing yards, and has been a partner in the offensive production for them so far this season. Benton has some good speed in the open field and shows impressive receiving skills for a running back, with the ability to line up at receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='651159' first='Braylon' last='Clark'] - Country Day - 10 Catches, 186 Yards vs. Cannon School - The sophomore phenom was the biggest offensive threat on this night, where his team struggled with turnovers in suffering their first loss of the season. As they get into conference play, it will be interesting to see how they stack up against the other big private schools in Charlotte - Charlotte Christian, Charlotte Latin, and Providence Day.

[player_tooltip player_id='1692741' first='Jackson' last='Laws'] - Cannon School - 15 Tackles, 6 Tackles For Loss, 3 Sacks in victory over Country Day - With his impressive performance in this game, Jackson now leads the state of North Carolina in sacks per a popular statistical website. Jackson's relentless energy and ability to get off at the line of scrimmage are impressive, and with his physical frame, he should start seeing more recruiting attention sooner rather than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='1149032' first='Marcus' last='Sales'] - Cannon School - Kickoff Return TD, Interception, and Fumble Recovery in victory over Country Day

Kaden Sanders - West Rowan - 12 Tackles and a forced fumble in victory over South Rowan - Kaden is the leading tackler for the Falcons, who are starting to turn things around after a slower than expected start to the season. At 6'0 and 205 pounds, I think Kaden has a future in playing college football. He has good speed, athleticism, and overall agility to make plays on all three downs on defense.

Brody Evans - South Mecklenburg - Double-Digit Tackles and a Pick 6 in victory over West Mecklenburg - Brody has been an important piece of the success for the Sabres, who are having a great season so far at 6-1. Brody's physicality and leadership skills are impressive, and he makes things tough against opposing offenses in the middle of the Sabres' defense.

Zitayvion Rucker - Lake Norman - Multiple Tackles For Loss and Sack in victory over previously undefeated Statesville

Andre Ramseur Jr - Mountain Island - 237 Passing Yards, 3 Touchdowns, 46 Rushing Yards in win over Thomas Jefferson

[player_tooltip player_id='1348404' first='Landen' last='Agee'] - North Lincoln - 109 Rushing Yards, 12 Carries, 2 Touchdowns vs. Newton-Conover - Landen is a talented running back who continues to shoulder the burden of the load for North Lincoln, which has struggled a bit while dealing with some important injuries.

[player_tooltip player_id='1751616' first='Elijah' last='Bachiller'] - Palisades - 9 Tackles, 4 Solo Tackles, 3 Pass Breakups in victory over Ardrey Kell - Elijah is a talented safety who has some range in defending the pass, while showing the speed and physicality to fill the alley in run support.

[player_tooltip player_id='1169882' first='Zach' last='Cullen'] - Sun Valley - Over 100 Rushing Yards and 3 Touchdowns in victory over Cuthbertson

Ryse Szabo - JM Robinson - 4 Extra Points and 36 Yard Field Goal in victory over Concord

[player_tooltip player_id='1616134' first='Titus' last='Troy'] - NW Cabarrus - 228 Rushing Yards and 2 Touchdowns in victory over Carson - Titus continues to show that he is one of the best running backs in the state that no one knows just yet, because he is a sophomore. He has powered the Trojans to a great start so far, and they have a chance to make a run not only for the conference title but for the state playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1301805' first='Hudson' last='Irwin'] - NW Cabarrus - 195 Yards and 3 Touchdowns in victory over Carson

[player_tooltip player_id='1656741' first='Ethan' last='Presley'] - Hunter Huss - 304 Passing Yards and 4 Touchdowns in victory over Forestview

Tariq Sibert - TC Roberson - 5 Sacks and 3 Tackles For Loss in victory over Asheville - Tariq isn't a player we have featured so far on Prep Redzone North Carolina, but he jumped on our radars after this impressive performance last week. This highlight film has some very impressive speed off the snap, and Tariq does a great job of using his hands to disengage from blockers and get sacks, or multiple tackles for loss in the running game.

[player_tooltip player_id='897126' first='Miles' last='McCallop'] - Clinton - 250 Passing Yards and 5 Touchdowns vs. Pender

[player_tooltip player_id='1815375' first='Isaiah' last='Woodburn'] - JM Robinson - 12 Tackles, Tackle For Loss, and Sack in victory over Concord - Isaiah is already on Power 4 recruiting radars, and his speed and aggressive play from the linebacker spot really shone brightly in this one for the Bulldogs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1654186' first='Brody' last='Hunt'] - South Iredell - 6 Catches For 179 Yards and a Touchdown vs. Mooresville

Jason Bonds - East Rowan - 10 Catches 164 Yards, 3 Touchdowns in victory over Salisbury

[player_tooltip player_id='1607430' first='Cory' last='Cunningham'] - Providence - Three Sacks in victory over East Mecklenburg - The highly recruited prospect had a breakout game this past Friday Night in an important victory for the Panthers, which kept them undefeated in conference play, setting up a big game next week for first place against Palisades.

[player_tooltip player_id='1299433' first='Donte' last='Nicholson'] - West Charlotte - 10 Catches, 118 Yards, 2 Touchdowns in victory over Independence - The UNC Charlotte commit showed off his entire bag of receiving skills in this one, making impressive catches all over the field for the Lions. Donte also had some nice route running to shake loose versus both man and zone coverage looks from the Patriots.

[player_tooltip player_id='771231' first='Dallas' last='Brannon'] - Independence - 18 Tackles, 2 Tackles For Loss, Sack vs. West Charlotte

[player_tooltip player_id='1887310' first='Kayden' last='Smith'] - West Charlotte - 6 Tackles, 3 Tackles For Loss, 2 Sacks in victory over Independence

Zoean McNeil - Harding - 2 Interceptions and strong pass coverage vs. West Cabarrus - Zoean is a long and athletic corner prospect who shows some great instincts for the football in coverage. I like how he is patient in coverage, doesn't panic, and breaks on the ball with good agility and athleticism.

Ramir Watson - Myers Park - 246 Passing Yards and 4 Touchdowns in victory over Garinger

[player_tooltip player_id='1687753' first='KJ' last='Bell'] - Kings Mountain - Five Touchdown Passes in victory over North Gaston - The young quarterback had one of his biggest passing games statistically to date in a blowout victory over the Wildcats. As their starting running back continues to recover from injury, KJ's play will be very important as the Mountaineers head into a big game this Friday against Ashbrook in conference play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1600209' first='Raishawn' last='Elmore'] - Porter Ridge - 145 Rushing Yards and 4 Touchdowns in victory over Piedmont

Jamir Jackson - Monroe - 203 Rushing Yards and 5 Touchdowns in victory over Parkwood
