It might be McCallop’s time this year with the reigning state runners-up at Rolesville. McCallop can make it all go with great timing and a willingness to let it rip. Surrounded by great talent, McCallop never tries to do too much, instead focusing on distributing the ball to playmakers in phase. I have to give a shoutout to the way McCallop has set up his highlight tape as well. It’s not loaded with random deep balls, but rather the first minute shows the type of throws college coaches are really looking for: deep outs, perfectly-timed curls and in-breakers, and the occasional layered seam route. I wish more guys would do that.

There is a lot to like about this young man. Miles has some impressive arm strength for his size, and I like his accuracy overall. Miles shows the ability to get out of the pocket and keep his head down field and make off platform throws for big plays. I love the fact that Miles also has a 3.8 GPA. That will allow him a multitude of recruiting options when that time comes for him. Being at one of the top programs in the state, he will become a name to know soon as long as he continues on this upward trajectory.
