<p>Beaumont is 4-0 and has impressive wins over Cathedral and Chaminade. [player_tooltip player_id='1000964' first='Jeremiah' last='Duhu'] has been excellent at quarterback for Beaumont and threw for 335 yards with two touchdowns against Chaminade last week. <strong>Braedon Miller</strong> and <strong>Javaan Stewart</strong> each had over 130 yards receiving last week and <strong>Kainalu Johnston</strong> had a touchdown. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1448228' first='Matthew' last='Casas']</strong> leads the defense with <strong>Tyler Dyer</strong>. Vista Murrieta is 3-0 and coming off a nice win over Bishop Amat. [player_tooltip player_id='1000959' first='Bryson' last='Beaver'] has completed 68 percent of his passes for 219 yards per game with seven touchdowns. <strong>Damarii Booth</strong> has five rushing touchdowns and [player_tooltip player_id='780348' first='Tyler' last='Caldwell'] is the top receiver along with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='283595' first='Cash' last='Bryant']</strong>. <strong>Brennan Martinez</strong> leads the team in tackles and tackles for a loss. </p>

<p>Western had a shocking blowout loss against Huntington Beach two weeks ago but bounced back with a rout of La Mirada. [player_tooltip player_id='1197380' first='Chance' last='Thomas'] is averaging 239 yards per game with 11 touchdowns and has run for three touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='212234' first='Skylar' last='Lendsey'] is running for 90 yards per game with two touchdowns and [player_tooltip player_id='1361628' first='Max' last='Young'] will have over 1000 yards receiving this season. San Dimas lost to Bonita last week but has a nice win over Pasadena. <strong>Brandon Meredith</strong> has thrown six touchdown passes with no interceptions and <strong>Liam Loyola</strong> leads the team in rushing along with <strong>Jacob Gallegos</strong>.</p>

<p>Mira Costa is coming off a very impressive win over La Habra last week where <strong>Liam Meeker</strong> ran for 111 yards with two touchdowns and threw for 179 yards with a score. <strong>Luke Meeker </strong>had 111 yards receiving with a touchdown and <strong>Joaquin Wagner-Bagues</strong> had 17 tackles. San Juan Hills is coming off a tough loss to Rockwall-Heath of Texas. [player_tooltip player_id='283687' first='Timmy' last='Herr'] has completed 69 percent of his passes for 269 yards and 13 touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='1639259' first='Luke' last='Frith'] has 398 receiving yards with four touchdowns and [player_tooltip player_id='1296204' first='Elijah' last='Ayala'] has five touchdowns. A player to watch for San Juan Hills is St. John Bosco transfer [player_tooltip player_id='283682' first='Roman' last='Paseka'] on the defensive line who recently became eligible. </p>

<p>Los Alamitos is 5-0 with a nice win over Serra and a dominant win over St. Paul. <strong>Colin Creason</strong> has been very good at quarterback and the running back duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1205414' first='Kamden' last='Tillis'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1598356' first='Lenny' last='Ibarra'] can make big plays. Los Alamitos can get after the quarterback with <strong>Jackson Renger</strong> and [player_tooltip player_id='1660469' first='Hunter' last='Eligon']. Granite Hills is coming off a tough loss against a very good Mission Hills team. [player_tooltip player_id='691923' first='Zachary' last='Benitez'] has completed 72 percent of his passes for 1159 yards with 12 touchdowns. Granite Hills cannot afford to turn the ball over against this good Los Alamitos team. </p>

<p>Mount Miguel bounced back nicely from a crushing loss to La Costa Canyon with good wins over Loyola and Torrey Pines. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1863430' first='Malachi' last='Jackson']</strong> leads Mount Miguel's defense with <strong>Dominic Lopez</strong>. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='459629' first='Delontay' last='Williams']</strong> leads the secondary and [player_tooltip player_id='401222' first='Brandon' last='Arrington'] is one of the top players in the state. Poway is playing one of the toughest schedules in San Diego and is coming off two losses to San Marcos and Carlsbad. <strong>Luke Jorgensen</strong> is running for 143 yards per game with five touchdowns and <strong>Noah Schuback</strong> is a solid dual threat quarterback. These teams are ranked really close together down in San Diego but Mount Miguel beat San Marcos and San Marcos dominated Poway.</p>

<p>Tustin has really challenged itself with a tough schedule this season and is coming off two losses against Long Beach Poly and Damien. [player_tooltip player_id='1455302' first='Ayden' last='Edwards'] is the best quarterback Tustin has had in quite awhile and [player_tooltip player_id='1622362' first='Hayden' last='Koo'] is emerging as a top receiver in Orange County. The strength of Tustin is in the trenches with [player_tooltip player_id='668740' first='Jeremiah' last='Williams'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1197561' first='Jon' last='Ioane']. [player_tooltip player_id='1197214' first='Taven' last='Epps'] flies around the field and Connor Cook is a defensive lineman to watch. Yorba Linda is 4-0 and has a strong defense. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1857030' first='Thomas' last='Knutson']</strong> and <strong>Vaughn Sharp</strong> are excellent on defense and <strong>Blake Thorp</strong> can cause matchup problems. Yorba Linda is one of the better coached teams in Southern California and usually takes care of business at home.</p>

Mater Dei is coming off its first loss since 2023, but the Monarchs clawed back after trailing 33-7 at one point. Bishop Gorman is 4-0 and every game has been a blowout. The Gaels beat Kahuku 38-0 and Mater Dei had to grind out a close win against Kahuku. Mater Dei won this game 31-15 last season but this isn't the same Mater Dei team.</p>
