Epps earned an invite to the All-American game and has been a top performer at this event for the last three years. He has a fluidity as an athlete that not a lot of linebackers have and his size caused the running backs a lot of problems during the one-on-one period. Epps had a couple of interceptions during the one-on-one period and won a lot of his reps.

Epps is such a versatile defender who has a background as a safety, can play linebacker and could develop into an edge rusher. He’s one of the better linebackers I’ve seen in pass coverage and he plays very well in space. Epps fills gaps in run support and uses his length and power to rush the passer. Epps maintains his position at #8 overall and is PRZ’s top ranked LB in the 2027 class. Physically imposing with a 6’4” 235 lb. frame he also possesses excellent athleticism and movement skills that give him sideline to sideline range.
