The BYU signee completed 77 percent of his passes for 268 yards per game with 36 touchdowns and ran for 15 touchdowns for a Folsom team that won a state championship this season.

Lyons battled injuries his senior season and exited the State championship game in December.

I covered his game against Mission Viejo earlier this season adn he was playing through an injury and showed his toughness while being sacked nine times. Lyons has one of the more impressive arms in the class, gets the ball out on time and from different arm angles and has very good pocket awareness.

He suited up but did not play in the All-American game on Saturday.

Lyons who is one of the top signal callers in the nation put on a show on Friday night in Del Paso heights on ESPN. To no surprise, he threw for 400+ yards and 5 touchdowns and had full command of the game both when running and passing downfield to a full list of weapons he has at every position. Lyons picked up right where he left off in 2024, and should have another stellar year for one of the states top teams. The Bulldogs will continue on through their brutal none-league schedule next week when they travel to the Bay Area to take one one of the states best, the Serra Padres on Saturday afternoon.

Lyons had an incredible junior season with 3,011 yards and 46 touchdown passes with 14 rushing touchdowns.

He also had a standout performance at Nike’s Next Ones and I’m looking forward to seeing him at the Elite 11 Regional soon.

USC, Oregon, Ole Miss, Michigan and BYU are leading the pack to land Lyons.

Lyons, arguably the top signal caller in the entire country and a 30+ offer guy already has recently picked up some new offers from North Carolina and the University of Arizona. He is now up to 33 offers and counting, and is gearing up for a huge senior season for this loaded Folsom squad in 2025.
