Rudnicki stood out with his footwork and ability to throw off-platform. He’s bigger than he looks on film and showed athleticism during the drills. Rudnicki didn’t lose any velocity on his throws while throwing on the run and will see his stock rise quite a bit as the offseason progresses.

Notes: Rudnicki no doubt solidified himself as one of the top passers in the state after his impressive state title performance against Cathedral Catholic where Folsom throttled the Dons and Rudnicki took over the game. His ability to buy time with his legs and throw on the run along with having tight mechanics and a very snappy/quick release and terrific arm strength make him one of the more sought after quarterbacks in California heading into 2026.

Rudnicki ran for 186 yards on 24 carries with four touchdowns in Folsom’s 42-28 win over Cathedral Catholic to win the Division 1-AA State championship. He also threw two touchdown passes after coming off the bench.

It’s no secret that Rudnicki is next in line to take the signal caller reigns at Folsom and his state title performance was a long time coming. He is a very athletic passer with a live arm, elite throwing mechanics and arm strength while able to get the ball out on time with accuracy and precision in tight windows. His ability to buy time with his legs and do damage on designed runs makes him tough to defend, along with his quick processing and pre-snap recognition. With Lyons out, he erupted in the state finals against Cathedral Catholic and accounted for 300+ yards and a impressive 6 touchdowns on the evening.

Rudnicki is perhaps the most sought after backup quarterback in the country, and he should be given the keys at Folsom in his Senior season in 2026 and see plenty of action this Fall. He has elite throwing mechanics, is a quick processor and shows he can get the ball out fast into tight windows and has tremendous ball placement and touch over the top while also a solid runner when needed and moves well in the pocket. He checks into our updated rankings as a top 15 player at his position in a loaded QB group, and inside the top 130 overall.

The Folsom product is just heading into his Junior season, but has some of the better throwing mechanics we have scene this off-season. He has a snappy release, gets the ball out quick and has tremendous throw power at the second and third level while showing good mobility and is a very high IQ passer. He has really blown up this off-season and recently picked up offers from BYU, Cal, Monnesota and Nevada.

. 6’1” 205 lbs. he’s a natural passer with smooth arm action and plus accuracy. Technically sound throwing from the pocket or on the run to either direction, he’s able to hit his spots and with good velocity and zip to all three levels. Can mix up speeds to throw a catchable ball while showing good rotation in his hips and shoulders to get added velocity when needed. Calm feet in the pocket, he flashes good rhythm and balance throughout his drop back and as he works through his progression. He’s on time and can anticipate throws to throw his targets open and hit them as they come out of the break. A functional athlete that can feel and escape pressure while also being able to tuck it and run and make plays with his legs. Now holds seven D1 offers with Nevada and Cal coming in this past week.
