Arrington announced his commitment to Texas A&M over the weekend. California’s top overall prospect narrowed down his top two to Oregon and the Aggies after taking an official visit to Alabama in mid June. A&M is getting one of the most elite athletes and one of the fastest in the country with the ceiling and upside of a future first-round NFL talent. Arrington is one of the top prospects to come out of San Diego in the past decade.

announced his commitment to Texas A&M on Thursday.
Arrington is the top-ranked prospect in the 2026 class and had a final two of Texas A&M and Oregon.
He caught 31 passes for 527 yards with five touchdowns last season and 26 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble on defense.
Arrington also had offers from Alabama, Washington and Penn State among others. He is the fourth player from California in Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class.

The top overall prospect in California just took an official visit with Oregon earlier this month and has been on campus with the Aggies a handful of times over the past couple years. Arrington is scheduled to announce his commitment on Wednesday.

Arrington took his first official visit of the offseason to Oregon this past weekend. The top overall prospect in PRZ CA’s 2026 rankings is one of the most coveted prospects in the nation holding 30+ P-4 offers and brings an elite blend of speed, length, and athleticism to both sides of the ball. Arrington has OVs lined up with Alabama, USC, and Texas A&M this month with a commitment date looming in early July.
