Greiner stated that the challenge this season for them is becoming the hunted team instead of the team that was doing the hunting. However, he stated that his team is hungry and fueled by the fact that people said their state championship was won in the 3A classification, a bracket where most Charlotte schools do not play. Check out the full video from the Lions below.

Tinsley stated that Mallard Creek has a standard, and that they will not back down from anyone, and they expect to compete with anyone. Even though the Mavericks lost over 40 seniors last season, Tinsley is very confident in their new full-time quarterback in [player_tooltip player_id='892288' first='Perry' last='Justice'], who Tinsley stated will play some defensive back along with his quarterback duties.

Head Coach DJ McFadden stated that he felt like the strengths of his team this season would be running the football with two talented backs in [player_tooltip player_id='1124842' first='Jayden' last='Jones'] and Travis Hill, and the back seven of his defense, led by linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='771231' first='Dallas' last='Brannon'] and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='402298' first='Nick' last='Reddish']. I asked Reddish specifically why he chose to commit to Notre Dame, and Reddish shared that it was a 4-year decision for the next 40 years, and I can't argue with that one bit. Check out what the Patriots had to say in full in their media session below.

Head Coach Daryl Vereen spoke very confidently about his Viking football team, stating that his goal and expectation this season was to win 10 football games, and that last year was a bit of a rebuilding situation for the Vikings. Coach Vereen expressed confidence in the players there attending with him, specifically stating that [player_tooltip player_id='1678640' first='Xyaire' last='Brown'] would play on both sides of the ball, and that he will be a contrast with the ball in his hands to his primary running back in Gabe McLaurin, who will be the "thunder" in the Vikings' attack. Vereen also spoke highly of linebacker Mikey McGill, who was not in attendance due to illness, but had a strong offseason. Check out what the Vikings said in full below.

Head Coach Brian Hales was back as the leader of the Bulldogs, a familiar position for him even after a year away in a brief retirement from coaching. Hales was honest in saying that he did not expect to be in this position, as he was enjoying being a member of the media and on the other side of the white lines. However, Hales stated that this is a young Bulldogs team with only 8 seniors in total, and that they were still trying to find what their identities would be on both sides of the ball at this time. Hales was high on ATH [player_tooltip player_id='826678' first='Tyler' last='Dent'], who should be an important piece of what they do on both offense and defense.

Head Coach Captain Munnerlyn spoke with pride in explaining why he took the Chambers job, noting that he knew the Cougars had talent and had admired the program from afar, even when he was playing with the Carolina Panthers and doing charity events. Munnerlyn is fully aware of the tradition and winning in Chambers' recent past, and thinks that the organization that he brings to the program as a head coach will help guide their talent in the right direction and ultimately help them win games consistently. Munnerlyn is very high on QB [player_tooltip player_id='402307' first='Zyon' last='Hailey'], stating that he is the leader and the heartbeat of the football team. Zyon is a talented dual-threat player who should have every opportunity to lead the Cougars on Friday Nights this season. OL [player_tooltip player_id='1600373' first='Darrell' last='Rice'] is a 4-year starter, a very impressive feat. Munnerlyn also stated that [player_tooltip player_id='1004079' first='Marley' last='Vincent'] was like looking at a younger version of himself on the field in terms of how he plays. Check out what the Cougars said in full below.
