The Game of the week will be an exceptional one. American Fork has made their two-headed QB system work for the most part. They have a balanced offensive approach and their defense has done a good job and they've rotated a lot of bodies in to keep that defense fresh. West has a stellar start to the season and they've relied on the run game and an aggressive defense to create turnovers. It's a fascinating matchup with two upstart programs that are coming into their championship opportunity window if they can keep their players intact. Let's dig in on some key players for both teams.   American Fork:    Nate has done an exceptional job this year and he's letting his feet do some of the work. He's shown good ball placement with his throws and the rotation hasn't hampered him too much, he'll have to face an excellent West secondary unit.     Po has been more of a dual threat and when he comes in the game it's more of a mystery on what he'll do. He is a threat with his legs and can make defenses pay with his arm. West has an aggressive defense, if they pin their ears back and don't have a spy, So might be off to the races with his legs.     Afu has done an exceptional job being the lead back this year and he's been effective with his opportunities. He's added good weight in the offseason, while maintaining his explosiveness. He helps keep the offense balanced and he contributes as a pass catcher out of the backfield.     Cash is an exceptional receiver and is great off the line and avoids being pressed. He moves well laterally, has a good quickness to him, and is strong at the catch point. He's a fluid athlete who transitions upfield with ease. West has two physical corners, and that matchup will be interesting to watch.     David brings great size at the position and he'll help out in contested catch situations and be a red zone target. He is a receiver who moves well and he'll be leaned on since he offers the length out wide that the West cornerbacks can't contend. He'll be a key player.     Dyson brings size and physicality, both of which will be needed against an aggressive West defense. Dyson helps balance the spacing of the offense as he can work the intermediate and create stress on the backers and safety.     Christian is an elite prospect and if they can get him going, it gives American Fork additional size in the intermediate and gives their signal callers an easy target. Christian is a great athlete, is strong at the catch point and has great body control.     Afu will be tasked with creating pressure against a physical West offensive line. Afu is good off the line, plays with good strength and uses his arms to get his lineman off-balanced. If he can advamce his position and stymie the run game, it'll force West to go in a different direction.     Jaybian will be needed in this contest. He brings excellent size and showcases good physicality. He'll be in charge to plug up the middle and be a run stuffing tackle and make West one dimensional.     Sam has been one of the pleasant surprises to start the season. He's been great off the line, showcases good speed and is a player that has good pursuit. If he can bring pressure to the passing game and be a contributor in run support, it'll help the AF defensive line unit.     Rees has done a tremendous job this offseason and has become one of the playmakers in the secondary unit. He has good range, showcases ball-tracking skills, and he does a good job of being a nuisance. His play in the secondary will be instrumental.     Bishop is a player that has immense talent and he's piecing everything together. He has good hip fluidity, is a physical defensive back and has good overall awareness at the position.    West    Kam is an elite signal caller and he's had a weird start to the season. He wasn't needed in the season opener as they ran for 300+ yards and last week was a superior team and he only needed to play a half of football. This should be a game that he'll be called on and he'll showcase his entire arsenal. As a passer, he throws with good anticipation, leads his receivers open, and has exceptional arm talent. He is a power runner who will make you pay with his legs. If you've never seen him play, he is akin to Jalen Hurts play style. An elite prospect.     Louie is one of the most complete running backs in the class. He's added good size this offseason and his footwork is phenomenal. His vision has always been one of his calling cards, and he has the lateral quickness to find a hole and make a defender miss. He has good speed and showcases good contact balance. He won't go down to an arm tackle. He's a great back in the class and should garner additional offers as he is a D1 prospect. He's also a weapon as a receiver and runs actual routes. Plenty to like with Louie.     Monson has great size and he has every opportunity to seize more targets and become a force in the receiving game. If American Fork is focused on stacking the box, Monson will be a key player, he has a good catch radius, moves well and is strong at the catch point. It's not if, but when he breaks out. He's another that will garner multiple D1 offers.     Dieter is an exceptional athlete and can be lined up anywhere. He is explosive off the line and can win with an array of moves. He's twitched up and will create havoc on an opposing offense. His hands are violent, has lateral burst is great, and his pursuit is next level. Plenty to like and another that will garner multiple D1 offers.     Savery is an exceptional athlete and is a menace to opposing offenses. He can change the trajectory of a game in an instance. He is explosive off the line, has great hip bend, can win with power and speed, is physical with his hands and those elite traits will force opposing teams to double and chip. He'll be a Power-Four starter at the next level.     Masiu brings good quickness to the defensive line and he does a good job of winning with leverage and getting under the pads of his lineman. He does a good job of being active and advancing his position. He can work inside or outside.     Aisa will be one of the biggest risers when I update my rankings. He's been a joy to watch. He is good off the line, has great physicality and play strength to his game. He wins inside and creates havoc by blowing up plays. Due to his play, it forces an offensive line unit to play one on one as the West defensive front is elite and Aisa allows everyone to play at their natural position.     Reed has been exceptional as a cover corner this year. He blends speed and physicality well. He has good hips, which allows him to stick to a receiver and has the hip sink to line up with twitchier receivers. He does a good job of making a play on the ball and disrupting passing windows. He'll be a player that gets multiple D1 offers.     Manu has put in the work this offseason and he's put on good size and is one of the best physical corners in his class. He does a good job of not only being physical, but having leverage over his receivers and getting position on them. He has good ball-tracking skills and will make it difficult for a receiver. He does well with his athletic movements to not be fooled with double moves and bigger, physical receivers do not phase him.     Lester is an elite athlete and is exceptional on both sides of the ball. On defense, he can play any of the defensive backs spot. He has good hips to stick with a receiver and has good, clean footwork that allows him to transition upfield and stop on in breaking routes. He has the range to be the deep safety and the necessary closing speed to make a play on the ball and close in when the ball is in the air. As a box safety, he can demonstrate his physical nature and his style of play. He has a knack for making plays and eliminating big plays.     Jaxon is an elite athlete and is an effective two way player. He has great footwork, exceptional hip sink, and effortless in his movement. He glides over the field and has great ball-tracking and strong hands. He can play any of the defensive back positions and he has good overall speed and range to be the deep safety and the hands and cover skills to play cornerback and the physical style of play to be a box safety and eliminate any big plays.    That was our look at the game of the week. It'll be an exciting game and should be a fun watch.
