Sam has been one of the pleasant surprises to start the season. He’s been great off the line, showcases good speed and is a player that has good pursuit. If he can bring pressure to the passing game and be a contributor in run support, it’ll help the AF defensive line unit.

Merten has began the season on a hot streak, and he’s done well disrupting opposing offenses and giving offensive linemen fits. He has good size and his length allows him to win versus his blocker and he cam use his hands to get his blocker off him. He’ll look to create further chaos this week.
