Wilkinson is someone who has caught my eye each time I’ve watched American Fork this offseason. He will be a slot receiver, but he has good twitch, speed, and creates late separation. His ball tracking skills are good, and he is strong at the catch point. He can be used at all three levels and is someone with a bright future.

Wilkinson goes from unranked to the 53rd-ranked prospect and the WR8. I’ve watched him live a few times this offseason during 7’s events, and he’s a player who has a knack for getting open, has good footwork, understands where to sit in zone coverages, has good ball tracking skills, and has strong hands. He can play inside or outside, but the slot should be his home where he can get free releases and make corners try to stick with him. He’s primed for a big season and gets looks in recruiting.

During the 7’s event, Wilkinson flashed great footwork, late speed to garner separation, and great ball tracking skills. He is an exciting playmaker who will likely wind up in the slot where he can work the entire route tree without being pressed. Wilkinson is going to be a player that takes a massive leap in playing time and production, he will be looked at in the recruiting circles.
