Nate has done an exceptional job this year and he’s letting his feet do some of the work. He’s shown good ball placement with his throws and the rotation hasn’t hampered him too much, he’ll have to face an excellent West secondary unit.
Childs has a good frame and he’s able to see over the line well. He saw time last week and once he got into the rhythm of the game, showed his effectiveness as a pocket passer. He’ll look to stress the Timpview defense with some deep shots.
Childs has good size, and when his footwork and he’s in rhythm, he throws a good, accurate ball. His arm talent when everything is in check is good. He can maneuver around the pocket to buy additional time if he needs. He has all the necessary raw tools and will have another year of development.
During the 7’s event, Childs made nice throws. His best plays were when he took deep shots. Childs throws a nice deep ball and a nice ball for his receivers to catch. Childs is at his best when he is stressing the defense with his deep shots and giving his receivers a chance to run under it. He has good size and a frame to grow into.
Childs has good size and showcased a good arm with multiple throws throughout the session. He had good ball placement and was decisive with where he wanted to throw. Childs had a good command of the offense and pushed it downfield. His arm and prototypical size makes him an interesting prospect
Childs has an excellent frame that he’ll grow into and use to his advantage. He stands tall in the pocket and showcases good pocket presence. Childs will climb the pocket and process quickly. He throws with good ball placement and has good arm talent and with his quick delivery, finds himself able to get the ball off with pressure coming at him. Childs makes off-platform throws and throws a nice deep ball. He does a good job at knowing when to press the ball deep and when to take the outlet. Childs is a tough player and will stare down a barrel and wait for his receiver to get deeper into his route to gain separation and take the shot.
