Perry Jr. is a prospect looking to keep climbing the rankings. He was working super hard at the showcase and didn’t disappoint. His end-to-end speed wasn’t among the top, but his lateral movement and first step explosiveness were all there. He’ll be looking to make a statement on the Varsity level this year. I believe he has the framework of a 3-down back. Only time will tell how he performs as a close to full-time, if not true bell cow back.

Perry had some nice runs in the evening and showcased good vision and short area burst. He moves well laterally, has the contact balance to absorb initial contact and he has the speed to get to the edge and makes defenders miss in a phone booth. He’s an exciting prospect that should make an impact on varsity next year with the traits he possess.
