Christian seemingly has earned an offer every week since the offseason. It’s easy to see why. He has a ready made frame and is a complete Tight End. He is a good blocker, shows good physicality and does well supporting the run game. He can be inline or detached and this is where he is a mismatch. He can be lined up out wide and opposing defenses have to decide if they want to have a backer or safety on him. He’s to athletic and nimble for most backers and too big and physical for most safeties. He has a large catch radius and has great athleticism. He has clean footwork and is fleet-footed. His hands are huge, and he is a sure-handed receiver. His large catch radius makes him a big red zone threat. His speed and his ability to get vertical makes him a threat to be a big play pass catcher. He is the complete package and is a P4 starter.
Christian is the best pure Tight End in the class. He has great size, has the speed, the twitch, the physicality and the playstyle needed. He can be an old school in-line Tight End or detached and be a modern day athletic Tight End where he can be used as a mismatch. He is tremendously athletic and has exceptionally strong hands; he gets vertical with ease, has little wasted movement, and is an exceptional talent. He is a P4 starter and has the upside to get to the league.
Christian is an elite prospect and if they can get him going, it gives American Fork additional size in the intermediate and gives their signal callers an easy target. Christian is a great athlete, is strong at the catch point and has great body control.
Hanshaw is an exceptional prospect. He has great size and weight to his frame. It’s solid weight and he carries it well. He is an athletic mover, has good lateral movement, is strong at the catch point, and has great awareness of where he is on the field. He is someone who has caught my eye several times this year. He’s got all the tools to be elite. He will be a Power-Four starter and a national recruit.
Hanshaw climbed 70 spots and is ranked 13th overall and the TE1. He is an exceptional athlete with a large catch radius and tremendously strong hands, and is great at the catch point. I’ve seen him live this offseason during 7s, and he catches the eye as a playmaker. He’s arguably the best TE in the Salt Lake and Utah County region, regardless of class.
During the 7’s event, Hanshaw had a great showing. He has a great frame, he’s added solid weight, and moves well athletically. Hanshaw made great catches on the afternoon and displayed good hands, plucking the ball out of the air and being strong at the catch point. It’ll be hard to keep him off the field under those Friday night lights.
Hanshaw has all the necessary tools you want in a modern-day Tight End. He is uber-athletic and twitched up. Hanshaw is an excellent mover, has great lateral quickness, and bend at the hip. He has a large catch radius and is good at catching outside his frame. Hanshaw displays strong hands and creates separation easily. He is a physical player, has great blocking techniques, and has been fantastic in 2 TE sets and used as a blocker, he will take the next step and be a receiving option and should showcase more of an all-rounded talent. He is a player that will be regionally recruited.
