Lester is one of the best athletes in the 2028 class and he is an impact player in all three phases of the game. As a safety, he shows great range and closing speed. As the deep safety he is excellent at limiting big plays and is a ball hawk. He is an excellent returner and is great with the ball in his hands where he can create and use his vision to map out open lanes and where he can make defenders miss. On offense, he is used as a chess piece, get him in motion, used in the backfield where he can use his creativity to win. He has good speed, and clean footwork, so it transitions well as a receiver and he can win at all three levels. He’s one of the more underrated prospects in the 2028 class and should see an uptick in P4 offers; he’s a bona fide talent.
Lester is an excellent athlete and is a playmaker. He affects the game in all three phases and as an offensive weapon, he is excellent at creating after the catch and showcases his athleticism and elusiveness with the ball. He has good quickness and changes direction on a dime. He has good footwork and is a chess piece on offense where you get him in space and let him create. He is an excellent returner and showcases great vision. As a defender, he has great range and versatility. Lester is a bona fide Power Four recruit.
Lester is an elite athlete and is exceptional on both sides of the ball. On defense, he can play any of the defensive backs spot. He has good hips to stick with a receiver and has good, clean footwork that allows him to transition upfield and stop on in breaking routes. He has the range to be the deep safety and the necessary closing speed to make a play on the ball and close in when the ball is in the air. As a box safety, he can demonstrate his physical nature and his style of play. He has a knack for making plays and eliminating big plays.
Lester played a pivotal role last year when injuries hit the West defense. He blossomed when given a chance and that should pay dividends. He is an exciting defensive back with good hip fluidity, showcases good burst and quickness to his game, he has good range, anticipates well and is a ball hawk. He’ll be tasked to help stymie the Timpview passing attack.
Falatea was another player who showed promise as a freshman last year, and he’s an outstanding two-way player and filled in when the Panthers had injuries. He’s had a great offseason and is primed to be a playmaker for the upcoming season. He should find his way on the field on both sides of the ball and should be a key contributor on both sides. Great athlete who will see plenty of offers come his way.
Falatea is an exciting two-way player who is exceptional as a defensive back. He has good anticipation and instincts with the range to cover a lot of ground and has a knack for making a play.He moves well laterally, has good physicality and has a high IQ.
