Manu is one of the best cornerbacks in the class. He is a physical press corner who can line up as a boundary corner or move into the slot with his hip fluidity and coverage skills. He has the physicality to be a box safety. He fits any scheme and that versatility makes him a fit for many programs. He’s a P4 talent that is currently being overlooked.
The best physical press corner in the class. He can fit multiple schemes and be placed in multiple spots on the field. He has the coverage skill and the ability to stick to a receivers hip pocket, and the closing speed to be a boundary corner. He has the hip fluidity and change of direction to slide in as a slot corner. He plays with the physicality and strength to be a hybrid box safety. He’s a physical corner with good footwork, does a good job of disrupting passing windows and has a great feel for the game. He’s a P4 talent.
Manu’s trademark is his physicality. He’s added additional strength this offseason, and he is a player who can play multiple positions. He has the hip fluidity to cover twitchy, athletic slot receivers, has the speed to be on the boundary, and has the physical style of play to be a box safety/weakside backer hybrid. He’s a talented player and is a P4 prospect. He should get an uptick in his recruitment, and he is the best pure physical press man corner in the state.
Manu had a good two days and he displayed his patented physicality. He knocked receivers off their routes and knocked a few off their feet without much force. His physicality along with his coverage skills and instincts, make him an exciting prospect. He can slide into a slot corner, can be a box safety and has the cover skills and length to play on the outside on an island if needed. He’s an exciting prospect and his recruitment should see an uptick.
Manu is one of the best physical cover corners in the 2027 class in Utah and that trademark physicality was there. he knocked receivers off their intended route within the allowed 5 yards and he showed excellent coverage skills and sticking to receivers and disrupting passes that came his way. It was an excellent showing for him and he is a player that is bound for an uptick in his recruiting.
Manu has put in the work this offseason and he’s put on good size and is one of the best physical corners in his class. He does a good job of not only being physical, but having leverage over his receivers and getting position on them. He has good ball-tracking skills and will make it difficult for a receiver. He does well with his athletic movements to not be fooled with double moves and bigger, physical receivers do not phase him.
