Expert Analysis
Andy Pham | Prep Redzone Scout
Justice has added good weight this offseason and that will translate to the pads as he’ll be able to be more physical. He’s added good quickness to his lateral movements this offseason, and he’s a player who will get offers his way at the FCS level, and he has every right to continue to gain that momentum in recruiting. He’s worked hard this offseason to refine his craft, and that should bear fruit this season.

Justice made several key plays during the event, and he is a cover corner that does well on an island and has natural instincts. He uses his longer limbs to disrupt passing lanes and is a cornerback who does a good job of sticking to his receiver and has good closing speed. He’s a corner who has put on good size this offseason and shows good speed to stay with his receivers. He can play in multiple concepts and does everything you want to see in an FCS/FBS caliber player. His recruitment should pick up soon.

Read EvaluationAndy Pham | Prep Redzone Scout
Reed is a boundary corner with good athletic traits. He does well against lanky receivers and has a good spring to cause disruption and interfere in passing lanes. Reed will likely move to a nickel corner at the next stage because of his good hips and twitchiness. He can cover the opposing team’s slot receiver and use his hip bend and the explosive first step to his advantage without concerns about the receiver’s length. Reed does a good job at anticipating and doesn’t have hesitation, he does a good job at sticking to receivers and has active hands to disrupt passing lanes. Those traits would make him an excellent slot corner but he isn’t limited to that. He’ll hold his own on the boundary and has good closing speed. He will turn and burn and does a good job at looking back for the ball. Overall Reed is a good versatile prospect.
